Couldn’t even get a money order from this location. I have accounts and the money but the poor lonely teller at this giant location doesn’t even have a working printer and apparently a barely working computer. Do better US Bank. I am a customer of your company I should be able to get a basic service from a large downtown location in a timely manner. I left without the money order I needed and will have to go elsewhere.

I am trying to pay a -$100 balance which had double finance charges $35 for OD and $35 for 5 days delinquent. This is an account that I am not using and am closing. An auto debit (my mistake) occurred which caused OD. I called, NO possible way to pay over the phone (I’m w/o a vehicle).This is absolutely ridiculous…they charge huge late fees and won’t let you pay. I need to find a ride to the bank and pay/close the account.This is NOT acceptable customer service

I've given one star because there is no option for zero stars--which is all USBank deserves. Here's my most recent experience. We had a safe deposit box at the Towncrest Branch in Iowa City for many years. In October 2020 we got a vague letter about no longer providing that service. The letter gave a deadline of less than two months to retrieve the box contents. We later learned they were closing the branch entirely, and if we didn't retrieve the contents, it would be turned over to the State of Iowa as lost property. We were out of state at the time, couldn't get back by their deadline, and we couldn't even get anyone at the bank to return our calls. The number the bank provided in their letter reached a call center, apparently in Asia, where, of course, nobody knew anything about the situation. Mail we sent to the bank was returned as undeliverable. Fortunately, we could impose on local relatives to retrieve our box contents after we had an attorney prepare an appropriate document. The bank was uncooperative at every step.

In my four years with US Bank, mostly with the main office in downtown Iowa City, I have had nothing but helpfulness, whether the matter was an overdraft or an international wire transfer. Even though I live in Grinnell, I travel periodically to Iowa City primarily to bank with the people I know best at the main office. Many thanks!

I have been with U.S Bank for more than six years and have always loved them. But I will be closing every card and account I have with them. Not open on Saturday! Drive through permanently closed. Drive through atm BROKEN and remains unfixed. I can't access MY MONEY!

I went to this bank to get a check straightened out because my check had been put back into my account. When I explained it to the bank teller she told me that I had asked for the wrong check to be canceled. She gave me so much attitude and made me feel like I was so stupid. I’m a college student. I’m learning about all of these things. I wish the bank teller was more understanding about my situation.

Worst bank I have been too I'm my life. It took 20min to cash my checks. Very slow and charged me 14$ to do so! Fu.

barnyard manners from tellers who fail to address senior citizens properly,,,ie. Sir or Mister,,,,,,Madam or Maam., unless instructed otheriwse.....typical of iowa born, raised and educated bank employees almost everywhere in iowa, not just u.s. bank.

Took 15 mins for downtown location drive thru to make 1 deposit slip. They also refused to process a check. I called the main office to complain. The guy Jake responded by giving excuses. He said next time to go in and not drive thru bc counting the cash and multiple checks took a long time. I can count $1800 in less than a minute. I do about 10 deposits a month and all with multiple checks for a business. Never did it take 15 mins to do 1 deposit slip.

super rude staff, unprofessional, unknowledgeable, they'll treat you as anything other than a customer, stay far far away from US Bank!!!
