“We made a 5 hour drive to check out (and ultimately buy) a car here and the experience was exceptional. (For context, we stopped on the way down to check out a similar car at what seems to be the "big name dealer" in Iowa and both the car and staff were absolutely NOT exceptional.) I was concerned about driving so far to spend the most money I've ever spent on a car, but after driving the car and talking to the owner a while, I was much at ease. I've bought many cars (from private parties and dealers) and I honestly haven't ever dealt with someone so transparent and pleasant to deal with as Michael. I was a little bothered by reading a few negative reviews before driving down there, but after spending some time in the shop where I overheard him dealing with an absolutely ridiculous customer, I think the negative reviews are likely a reflection on the buyers and not the seller.
Based my experience at Best Buy Auto, I'd say they do a good job of finding quality cars. When buying a used car you do always have to consider the risk that some unknown thing could go wrong in the near future and that's why it's important to spend a little under your budget. These guys have great prices and good cars, so getting what you want at less than you expected to pay is possible .....and that's why I'm very comfortable with my purchase. So far the car is performing flawlessly, but if even something came up in the next few months, I'd still endorse these guys for a delivering a quality car and a great experience.”
