Unfortunately after being a customer of Community State Bank since 1997 I tried to do a home mortgage with them. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. In the last 25yrs I have purchased 7 homes. 4 rental properties and 3 that I have lived in. I have a pretty good idea on how this should go. I can’t stress to you enough to go somewhere else.

I've been waiting to speak with someone at the bank for 45 minutes. Does anyone there actually answer the phone? Your automated phone system is terrible.

This bank charges for redicilous little things that other banks never charge for, they are not keeping up with basic technology regarding deposits and they are not competitive with their loan rates. I'm making the switch to a credit union that I should have made months ago. This bank has irritated me more times than I should have let them. 👎👎👎

I have a business account and called ahead about getting a cashiers check on a time crunch. My business closes at 5, the same time as their lobby, so I got to the bank with only a drive-thru option and was informed that you can't obtain a cashiers check at the drive up window because they "can't identify me." From the start of my business 4 months ago my checks were printed wrong, my address was wrong, I wasn't receiving statements until I asked twice for them, I have to pay for online account use, my deposited checks were held for almost 2 weeks before being available, and now this. It's multiple locations at fault. No one has time for poor customer service and this many mistakes.

I love this bank! I love the small, personal feel that I can't get from a large, big-name bank. I am always greeted by name and have never had less than great service.
