When we first walked in to check out this apartment I immediately knew this would be our home!
We continue to feel welcome, safe and comfortable. The neighbors are friendly, the staff is very accommodating; especially the maintenance guys!
The grounds are beautiful with trees everywhere. We are just a few minutes away from shopping and restaurants. It’s more than I imagined apartment living could be.
Our favorite amenity has to be the fireplace!

Our move-in experience was extremely disappointing and disheartening.
There was a pre-existing ant problem, both dead and alive ants were all over the living room floor. The kitchen was dirty, with caked-on food between the stove and counter and even an old cat collar under the fridge (and much more that we included in the inspection report). The carpets were dirty and smelled terrible. We even found glass broken in the carpet, so weren't even vacuumed. The AC didn’t work and wouldn’t cool below 75 degrees until it was fixed on Wednesday.
Since we were moving in over the weekend and had movers scheduled for Monday morning, we had no choice but to handle everything ourselves. We paid out of pocket to have the carpets cleaned, scrubbed the kitchen, and dealt with the ant issue by cleaning it up and then using store-bought treatments and preventatives.
I left a voicemail for the office over the weekend detailing the issues and followed up with a call on Monday. I received no apology or explanation, just a vague statement that they “use professional cleaners and carpet cleaners” and that they would “look into who they hired.” I never heard back. Even if professionals were used, it's clear that either no one inspects the units before move-in or those inspections are done poorly.
Now that we’ve been here a couple of weeks and things have settled, the apartment feels more livable. That said, I’m still very disappointed by the condition we moved into and the lack of responsiveness and care from the office and management team.
The apartment itself is okay, not the highest quality, but acceptable for the price. The location and neighborhood, however, have been great so far.
My suggestion: tour the exact unit you’ll be moving into to ensure the quality and condition. If I had seen this one beforehand, I wouldn’t have chosen it. If I had known about the ant problem and poor inspection standards, I wouldn’t have moved in at all.

I love living here. Maintenance is pretty responsive and it is usually pretty quiet. Property management schedules fun things like food trucks and game nights for the residents.

Quiet and clean neighborhood. I also appreciate the office staff being quick to respond to any concerns. Great amenities and close to schools.

My wife and I have really enjoyed living at Providence Pointe! They fix anything broken in a timely manner and will give us calls with updates.
The gym access is super nice too!

The staff has been very friendly and accommodating and maintenance has always been available. I enjoy living here, it's 3 minutes from my work and great food around the corner.

This is the 3rd apartment complex my husband and I have moved into and it is by far our favorite.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
The units themselves have a nice homey feel to them and very spacious.
We definitely see ourselves living here for a while!!

The staff are amazing and very helpful! Ive lived here for almost 4 years and have never had any problems except for upstairs neighbors. This would be the longest review if I told you everything I love about this place so here are just a few, spacious units, fire place, patio, central air, pet friendly, dog park, pool, club house, private garages with storage, theater, children park around the corner, 3 ponds, community garden area, 24 hr Gym, Tanning available, and you are close to everything!

I’ve been living here for almost 9 months and we have a ant problem and they are coming from the walls and they don’t seem to care at all when we inform them about it, they just say it’s our problem even tho they are in our walls! Loud beeping noise in hallway goes off almost everyday and they NEVER shut it off, started at 9pm one night and went off all night causing us to not be able to sleep. Called them and they don’t care at all that it is bothering us they just continue to say they will get to it and never do! They will act like they are nice when you move in, but once you sign papers and are stuck in the apartment they don’t do/care about you one bit. This place is one of the worst places I have moved into just because the lack of caring for their tenants.

Worst place to live ever. Lived in Johnston my whole life and these people are the worst. They raise your rent by 200 every month and when you move out give you fake charges to pay things off. They act like everything you put in for them to fix is your fault because they don’t come and actually fix anything. Now I owe money because of them not fixing stuff.Never move here. Move anywhere else in Johnston. Thank me later

This was probably the best apartment I've ever lived in honestly. For a modern luxury apartment of its size, it was one of the better deals I got in the area. Staff and maintenance are friendly and helpful. Appliances are nice and modern. The ponds were pretty to look at outside of my window.
It is on the outskirts of town. But I personally liked that. The area was quieter and more chill. You're close enough to groceries for your basic needs. And getting onto the freeway is not difficult at all for whenever you do have to drive to the center of town.
The one downside was that the ponds attracted a lot of geese during migration season. And during certain parts of the year, they can be pretty loud, even at night. But that's obviously not the apartment's fault. And just about everywhere you live, there's going to be some kind of noise. Overall, it's not a big deal and I wouldn't let it deter you too much. This was a great place to live. If I didn't move out of state, I'd still be there.
