I recently got married, so my driver's license with my new last name was an important piece of mail I was eagerly awaiting. However, the mail carrier failed to deliver it, despite me seeing it listed in Informed Delivery. The excuse I received was that he didn't recognize my new last name. This is simply unacceptable, considering all my mail clearly displays my first, middle, and last name. One name change should not have confused him, especially since there are also name cards inside the mailbox. This situation is particularly frustrating as I have a flight booked under my new last name. I was advised to contact the Department of Transportation to reclaim my license, but I’ve been informed that the process takes 30 days. This is not just inconvenient—it's unacceptable.

Won't deliver mail if vehicle is park in front of mailbox. Won't step out 3 feet to put it in box. We have informed delivery and we get pics of everything in our mail delivery. Never get what has had pics taken, that day anyway. I was told johnston doesn't do the scanning of mail, but lived in waukee and never had problem. I believe there's a reason why the usps has lost 9 billion a year. Change the ownership and hold them accountable.

Had an important package that was “delivered” but was nowhere to be found. 3rd time this has happened, only to get it from a neighbor. This time it was medication needed and unacceptable.
Nobody picks up the phone in the office to have them get the package to me in the time I needed. $195 package and only will reimburse $100.

Just spoke on the phone with Danielle, worst customer service I have experience. Right away upon answering I received a lot of attitude, as if she had not a care in the world about the call. Cutting me off mid sentence to correct me and try telling me there is nothing she could do (without finishing explaining our issue), and telling me that she does not know what I am talking about, giving me an ABSURD amount of attitude and refusing to let me speak, is completely unacceptable, and quite honestly pathetic. If this is how you are going to treat people over the phone, find a new career — preferably one with no customer interactions.

It's a post office. Provides postal things. Wayyy cheaper than UPS or FedEx. Kind service at this location.

Online store hours state closes at 5pm. Arrived at 4:50pm but the store hours on the door states closes at 4:30pm. Very inconvenient.

It's always a great visit. The ladies there have gotten to know who I am and they always have my mail in hand so I can just do a fast walk thru right back out thevm door and on my merry way. Thanks for being so nice every time I stop in.

Far and above the lowest service post office I've lived near in the last 20 years. Perhaps, they should have an automated package shipping station like those that have been available in most post offices for the last 10 years. If not, please don't lock your door a few minutes before close. And, please don't offer porch pick up, fail to pick up the package and then send me a confirmation that my package was picked up. And, when I weigh the package, calculate postage on your website, and put the appropriate number of stamps and drop off at a drop box (most people work when you are open), please don't return it stating that it's $0.02 short on postage. The worst. By a lot.

Went one day, friendly people (so we thought...) Told us the person we needed was off but to stop in the next day. Stopped in the next day to be told its appointment only and booked out 2 weeks.
