“This is our go to hotel when staying in the Keokuk, Iowa area. We have been meaning to leave a review for a while now and wanted to thank Hailey for being so helpful and friendly during our most recent stay and as always, Sara L. for the great breakfast hospitality and conversations. The housekeeping and other staff also does a great job as well keeping the rooms clean and nice for each stay. We will be back and will see you all then!”
“Room was adaquate for a quick one night stay. Appreciate they allow a dog. The young man at check in was very pleasant. The room provides what was needed, appeared relatively clean, could use some touch up painting and new furniture. Basic breakfast items, good enough to satisfy us for a few hours. All was reasonable for what we paid.”
“This hotel was very clean , only thing they lacked was that breakfast in morning hot? they did offer cold items and make your own waffles overall I would recommend it!!
Rooms: The rooms was very clean
Food and drinks: The first wok Chinese restaurant across the street is the spot to eat at!!!!”
“We spent two nights here.
Pros: Rooms were larger than at other hotels we stayed at. Because we were traveling with two autistic adults in two different rooms, it was really nice to have connecting doors. A nice plus was having a printed guide to the stations on the TV instead of having to scroll through it. The desk staff and lady running the breakfast were very friendly. The pool area was nice (despite the screeching kids who splashed all over us--that wasn't the hotel's fault). Because of the kids in the pool, we opted to have our autistic kids in the whirlpool area and that was really nice. A good value for the price.
Cons: I don't know about the rest of the hotel, but the floors in our rooms were wavy. The setup of the bathrooms was odd--the light switch to the toilet/shower area was outside the door by the vanity. There was a youth group staying there one of the nights we were there and I wondered how many kids had the lights turned off on them while they were taking a shower. There was only one four-person table in the dining area. I know it's a small thing, but because we were traveling with some autistic adults, it would have been easier to keep us together, but it was taken. I'm sure this would also be the case with families with young children. We weren't able to push tables together.
I would definitely stay here again.”
