“Well I normally use Walmart pharmacy because the price is usually more reasonable. But lately they don't have the medication I needed. So that is why I have been using Medicap. Much better service than Walmart for sure.”
“I had several issues with my two insurance companies. My prescription claims were getting denied and I was not getting the full insurance benefits I had been paying for. After multiple phone calls to both insurance companies, in which I would get conflicting information I was beyond frustrated. It was determined I had paid $1,000 out of pocket that should have been covered by insurance, and that money was not going towards my deductible either. I explained this to pharmacist, Eric Peterson, and he said he would see what he could do. After hearing this same thing from the insurance companies, I wasn’t holding my breath. To my surprise, Eric contacted me a week later to let me know he was able to go back six months to the start of the year, and he processed all my originally denied claims. He was able to recoup the $1,000 for me. After getting the runaround from so many people involved in this issue, Eric’s assistance was a surprise and helped to restore my faith that some people actually do what they say. Eric is definitely an asset to Hy-vee Pharmacy.”
“Can't give this place 5 stars which sucks but about 80% of the time I come here to pick up my or my families meds there is some kinda commotion/fight etc between the pharmacist and a person at the counter trying to get their medsThey're are quite a few really nice workers there who always greet myself, the kids and my partner very nicely and that makes for a better experienceBut for someone with PTSD , anxiety and so on hearing an angry irate customer and any worker at the store fighting is unnerving . It doesn't make anyone in my family comfortable and we end up just ranting to get out of the area.If that isn't happening usually there's some kind of problem with the insurance not wanting to pay for something, I end up getting the typical run around of calling my doctor back and then the insurance and back to the pharmacy, that just ends up a mess but overall this is 4/5 for meNot horrible but not exemplary”
