I'm originally from this beautiful area of the country. We stayed with our adult children & other family. It was a perfect set up. We had our own space plus a great setting to gather as a bigger group in the Big Slough unit. Love that each unit had a full kitchen & living space. Beautifully decorated with good use of space. I've stayed in a variety of rentals in the area and across the country and I'm thoroughly impressed with Backwater Suites with the view of the Mississippi. Top notch! Looking forward to future visits.
I like that they have different room options at different rates.
All units were booked, but each unit must be well insulated because we never heard a sound from the other guests. Perfect location in town where there's lots to see and do.

We had a four night stay at Backwater Suites recently and absolutely loved it. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and we loved drinking coffee on the private patio.

We stayed in the Capoli and it is absolutely beautiful and so cozy. Feels like a home away from home. Great location and met the people who own it and gave us a tour of the other rooms and all I can say is WOW. They have done an amazing job on this property. My husband and I enjoyed our stay there very much and Will absolutely be back for sure!

Stayed in the Natchway unit- it had everything needed. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lansing

Great place to stay! We stayed in the Natchway unit. Clean, looks has everything you would need. Virtual check in for us. Coffee pots, cookware, a fridge/freezer. Comfy beds. Close to Bars and Restaurants. Giant entry way with quite a few coat hooks. Big bedrooms too and overall really quiet! Highly recommend!
