you dig out your mailbox on the rural highway routes and the DOT plows you back in and you go on like this all winter. DOT goes fast and wide around and doesn't even clear the entire pavement. They put a 'no trail no mail' notice, you shovel out, DOT plows you back in sometimes twice a day! The the carrier holds your mail for weeks during the winter and don't give you any notice they are keeping it. You get no service after noon. i have been shoveled at noon and still no mail once they decide not to deliver; however do see they drove threw some snow to deliver to neighbor. If it rains you can look forward to wet mail

I can never specifically find lansing phone number. I work m- f 8-5 out of town and extremely difficult to get my mail or pkgs I need to sign for.
