This place is amazing! Like a gas station, grocery store, and almost a restaurant.
- Double Bacon Cheeseburger - $4.29 - Surprisingly good. I specifically picked one that was older on the shelf to see how it compared to a newer one (the below one). It did look a bit disgusting with the bacon and cheese, but it was super delicious for what it is and what you pay.
The burger patties were the star of the show. They were still plenty moist and full of flavor. The bacon added to the flavor. The texture was not too bad for sitting on the shelf for a while. The bun did well.
- Quarter Pound Cheeseburger - $4.29 - Not as old as the double bacon cheeseburger above. It was still moist, but not quite as much flavor. It was still worth the price, though.
You can add condiments and toppings at a station they have there for that purpose. I added ketchup, mayo, lettuce, and tomato. The lettuce was a little wilted, but not bad at all. There was also onion and many other veggies and so on.
The burgers were warm on the shelf and I did not have to heat them. I just added toppings.
They have basic produce including apples, coffee (checked regularly every 30 minutes), slushies, fountain drinks, doughnuts, muffins, soups, and more.
They also offer hot burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings (bone-in and boneless), brats (beef and cheddar), WHOLE chickens, and more. You can buy pizza ready to cook (maybe even to cook there?).
They also have a row of auto supplies and fluids. The bathrooms were nice, too.
I am finding it difficult to think of what they do NOT have. Wow!
The people were helpful, too.

On 7-1-24 morning I was traveling back to Colorado, my car fob/phone in my purse locked me out of my car (low battery warning is real). The employee called 311 to get me back on the road. He came out to check on me and offered me something to drink. Patrons were also kind to offer help. The officer got me back on the road quickly Thanks to the clerk for his kindness.

Being familiar with Kwik Trip in Wisconsin it was nice to see a Kwik Star in Iowa. It felt much like home in a way that someone who spends a lot of time frequenting Kwik Trip's.I would like to give an especially big shout out to the cashier who handled a noticeably rude customer with grace and aplomb. She kept her cool in the face of upright arrogance and unnecessary rudeness. She exemplified the Kwik Star standard of being friendly and kind regardless of anything.The customer on the other hand left much to be desired. He strike me as someone who enjoys traffic jams only because he gets pleasure from watching others around him looking and feeling annoyed.

It is a store with a wide variety of items to consume in the car and to take home, it is open 24 hours a day so if you are passing through Le Claire it is an excellent option to shop here.

Really like Kwik Star variety. It's bigger than most convenience stores, and they carry a large variety of goods. Lots of calorie laden goodies, water, pop, beer, energy drinks, and even down to cat food. They are amazing stores. Open 24/7, so if you're hit by the munchies at midnight, they got the GOODS for you!
