It is a beautiful setting for fishing and family time, featuring a public boat ramp, docks, a fishing platform, and a playground. The owners are noted as awesome, very nice, helpful, and super great people. The location is convenient, roughly 10 to 16 miles from Oskaloosa, Knoxville, and Pella, making it a great location for trips to these towns or for events like the Knoxville Nationals. Visitors appreciate the clean, nice restrooms and that it is dog-friendly for friendly dogs. Many guests state it is their number one choice and plan to stay again.

Very clean, quiet place. The owners are amazing! Weren't familiar with this part of the river so they put their boat in and showed us the safe path. Very helpful with anything we needed. This will be where we are the rest of the summer on the weekends. This hidden gem is a wonderful place to relax!

It was great little hidden treasure. It was shady, peaceful, and situated on the banks of the Des Moines River. The site had a fire pit and a picnic table. The owners are lovely people and available if needed.
