Little River Inn Motel is a nice, quiet, and friendly place to stay, perfect for resting on a long trip. It is an easy drive off I-35. The owners are amazing, awesome, genuine, and real people who are very helpful and kind. They go out of their way for guests, offering assistance with late check-in, car trouble, and travel conditions. The complex is one level with easy parking. Guests describe it as a favorite place in Iowa and a very nice little getaway to relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though they are described as old and not new, with some noting a musty smell. The television units are older. Safety is not a concern, as guests feel more than safe. The office provides snacks, coffee, and other things to eat, such as Little Debbie's snacks, peanut butter crackers, and instant oatmeal. The service is highly recommended, with many noting the thoughtful and caring actions of the staff, who ensure guests are safe and cared for. It is considered well worth the drive.
Friendly, helpful, clean, peaceful, comfy, especially the bed...was amazing! Memory foam! My sore back thanks you Laura! And we had a great meal at the Barnyard restaurant that you recommended. Next trip we will be back!

Stayed here on a business trip back in about January of 2011 when we were traveling g the country doing kitchen equipment. Sure a lots changed around but of all my travels this is the most memorable experience because of the hospitality. They offered to cook us dinner and everything such kind people hope I can make it back.
