The cream is above food safe temperature at 39.5 degrees. Carrie the manager refused to test it twice and asked me to leave the store. I highly recommend avoiding this store for dairy products. The cream dispenser has been so bad it's tasted like buttermilk. Curdled and tangy which is 100% spoiled. Drink the creamer first and then tell them if it tastes sour. Even a little sour means it's bad. She's very obnoxious and ignorant. I asked her to repeat the temperature checking of the cream dispenser and she refused for no reason. I guarantee you the creamer in the dispenser is not safe for you to drink and quick star won't adjust it and lower the temperature. The optimal food safe temperature for dairy is between 33 and 38 degrees. Carrie stuck a probe in and it registered 39.5 fahrenheit. This is ABOVE the food safe zone which is 39 AND UNDER! The temperature should NEVER be over 39.5. This is an area wide problem because the quick star near the Arby's in Marion, IA has even worse creamer. Quick Star is NOT doing anything to address this problem and it's going to make a lot of people very sick. It probably already has. Speak up and say something! These people don't care about you, your health, you getting food poisoning, and missing work or anything. They are a heartless American corporation and money is god. Saving a few dollars on the electric bill saves them money. If you get sick in the process, oh well, collateral damage.
Zero maturity on the part of Carrie. Zero integrity. What's the harm in testing the creamer Temp twice? I believe it would have been above 40 degrees if she'd taken it a second time. But no matter what, it showed 39.5 which is NOT FOID SAFE! You don't round numbers down. Especially when they are temperatures. It showed above 39. Anything above 39 IS NOT FOOD SAFE!
Ok be informed and warned. They give us faulty products because we tolerate them. Don't put up with it.

I absolutely love Kwik Star. Honestly a lot of things on the grocery side are cheaper than the grocery stores and good prices and who doesn't love the fact that it's open 24 hours nothing is anymore!

Went there 1115pm tonight, got a pretzel with cheese and spicy chicken penne. Cashier at the register bagged the cheese sideways in the bag, causing it to go all over the bag and everything inside it. Went inside to let her know and Clea. It all up, not once did she say sorry. She DID try to bag it up again, like I'd let her spill my stuff twice. PLEASE train your cashiers ?

This is the second time Kwik Star double charged my debit card. And according to corporate, they can’t find any transactions in regards to my claim. But the store manager was able to. FishyI’ll stick to Kum n go from now on

An older woman at the pump beside ours was having difficulties with a prepay purchase. Carrie (?) came out of the store and helped her in the most friendly manner. She is exactly the kind of employee you want!

Yesterday, my parents were on their way back from Omaha and my dad "accidentally" left my mom at this gas station in Marion Iowa. His phone was off and he got all the way home (2 1/2 hours away) before realizing she wasn't with him. She was stranded here for 5 hours until I could get to her from Omaha, and the employees here were absolutely incredible and compassionate. They even went so far as to check cameras to make sure he hadn't been hauled off at gunpoint when she couldn't get a hold of him. Police were called, they made sure she was well cared for, fed, and as comfortable as she could be. Luckily all ended well and we are all home safe, but I told my dad that while we will DEFINITELY be stopping there again he may not want to show his face.
