If I could I would give White Glove six stars. No not hesitate. Go with White Glove Movers. Mitch, Tristan and Shawn went above and beyond for me. They were professional, efficient (fast), knowledgable, worked with me and what I needed all along the way, communicated with kindness, and treated each other well. They showed that they cared about me as a person and took care with my belongings. They accomplished the job well under the time estimated and the price was adjusted accordingly! And a big shout out to Mark (owner). He took time with me to have a real conversation about what I needed, truly listened to me, gave sage advice and came through for me. Thank you again!

If I could give zero stars here I would. Our experience with this moving company was a nightmare. The movers showed up and were in such a hurry that they finished moving our five bedroom home in less than an hour. Red flag #1. After they left, my husband started going through the truck and saw that they had just placed things in the truck haphazardly and didn’t stack from the bottom to the top so that there would be more room for other items. We realize that if my husband didn’t intervene, half of our things were going to have to be left behind . My husband had to unload and load both the Pod and the truck, again, by himself. We were supposed to be on the road by noon. We got on the road at 9:30 that night. We ended up driving all night AND we arrived too late to move our things into the new home that has a strict HOA policy of moving only between the hours of 9 and 6 PM. So we couldn’t move any of our things in until the next day. The folks that were supposed to help us move in that day weren’t available the next day.
This was a nightmare. These guys were terrible.

I had never hired movers before, and reached out to White Glove Movers. Scheduling was a breeze and Josh and Bralen helped move me into my new place. They went above and beyond to accommodate me. Moving wasn’t a very happy experience for me but those boys made me feel comfortable and worked efficiently. If it wasn’t for them, I would probably still be unpacking. Thanks for your help! We had a fantastic experience with Kaden, Blake, Shawn, and Braylan handling our move. They were efficient, detail-oriented, and polite. I especially appreciated their kindness to my son with special needs. This is the fourth move White Glove has coordinated for our family, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Tony, Braylen and Steven packed and loaded our items. They did a fantastic job. Tony, Braylen and Felix drove 2 days to move us to Utah. The professionalism and work ethic of these young men blew us away. They were kind and very respectful.

The three men that moved my son and girlfriend from cedar rapids to iowa city, Britt, Steven, and Blake, we're fast, efficient, and careful with all the items moved. They had us loaded and unloaded in 4 1/2 hours! They were very respectful of us and our stuff. I highly recommend this company for your next move!

We just used White Glove to move us from Cedar Rapids to Minnesota. We were amazed at how great the whole experience was. Tony and his crews were very professional and hard working. They showed up when they said they would and worked quickly. We appreciate everything they did!

Had a great experience with White Glove Movers! The crew of three who helped me move were awesome — super friendly, professional, and fast. They handled everything with care and made what could have been a stressful day feel really easy.
They worked well as a team, kept things moving, and even checked in with me throughout to make sure everything was where I wanted it. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it shows.
Highly recommend if you want movers who are reliable, efficient, and just great to work with at a reasonable price.

Overall, not a great experience. I'll start with the good. Of the moving companies that bid on our project (residential, in-town move), they were the low bidder. Their customer service was prompt and courteous (this is what prevented this form being a one-star review). They did, essentially, get the job done.
That having been said, they overall experience was pretty poor. They packed our heirloom china pieces improperly which resulted in several pieces being broken, as can be seen in the attached photograph. We were compensated for the broken pieces, although some of the china appears to be irreplaceable at any value.
Many boxes were poorly marked by their packers which resulted in them being placed in nonsensical places - clothes form the main bedroom closet being delivered to the basement storage room, pantry items from the kitchen being delivered to the basement, and so on. There we dozens of instances of this. Items from several rooms were combined, rather nonsensically, into the same box, making unpacking more difficult than necessary.
The entire contents on my bathroom vanity - which included several bottles of designed cologne as well as other personal grooming items and products - was packed with items from at least two other rooms and left int he garage, meaning it took us nearly a week of unpacking literally every box before they could be located. Despite the contents of the missing box having been values at well over $500, we were only offered $125 to "compensate" us for the loss.
Our bill was initially calculated wildly incorrectly (to the tune of more than $600 in their favor). While this was corrected, its pretty indicative of the lack of attention to detail which was pervasive in our experience.
As much as I wish I could recommend White Glove Movers, I have to advise anyone considering them to proceed with caution.
Update: On the same day I left this review, I was called by a person purporting to be "Mike" from White Glove Movers who proceeded to berate me for leaving a negative review. For this reason, I have reduced my rating from two stars to one.
