I had an amazing shoe shopping experience here. I have had foot surgerys and need shoes that fit my needs. Talk to the sales guy about shoes i had gotten from the care team for my feet. Told him what the team had told me. Showed me a few different shoes and told me a few things i didn't know. I was out of town helping my friends at the craft show, and my shoe failed. i had to have news ones that day. The salesman ended up being the owner of the store. I would say if you live in this area please go and at least give them a chance at getting your business..

I was in need of new shoes. I tend to wear mine until they are falling apart. Brown's shoes has a large selection of quality footwear. The employees were friendly and attentive, very indicative of Iowa hospitality. I love the shoes that I purchased and I'm very particular.

Very helpful in picking out my Birkenstocks and knew about the sizing and fit. They had a great selection of high quality shoes and even a good choice on their sale rack. Great to support local-will visit again soon!

Got the shoes we love. But staff could be more helpful and not stand around so much visiting with each other. This is the third time we've been there and the third time it has happened.
