Through the years Marie and I adopted six cats from this excellent shelter where you can get to know your cat before adoption. I think we were picked out by our cats as much as we pucked them out. The staff made adoption smooth. They sre friendly and care about the animals. Adopt!

The Humane Society of North Iowa is a non-profit animal shelter serving displaced and neglected homeless animals in the north Iowa area. We have found loving homes for nearly 13,000 animals and hope to help you find a new furry friend too! We always have cats and dogs of every size, color, age and breed available for adoption. We occasionally have other small animals (guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, etc...) available as well. We are not a law enforcement agency.
