Southbridge Mall, once a bustling hub in the 80s and 90s, now faces challenges as many storefronts remain empty. Despite the mall's current stagnation, it still offers a few attractions for visitors. The building itself is in good repair, and the staff is helpful, providing a pleasant experience for those who venture there. The mall continues to host events like Tuba Christmas and craft shows, which draw in visitors. The play area and hockey rink are also popular with families, and the security guard, Josh, is known for his friendly demeanor. While the pretzel maker and some other stores have closed down, the nail salon and Claire's remain open, catering to the loyal customer base. Locals hope that the upcoming construction of an international convention center next to the mall will breathe new life into the area, leading to the return of more stores and venues. Though the mall may not be as vibrant as it once was, it still holds a special place in the hearts of the community, and many wish to see it thrive once again.
Great Card shop inside. And the Thai restaurant is amazing!

I think the mall/city needs a less of a small-town vibe. Its hurting business. N. Korea malls got more to offer the kiddos. Love the gyro place. Show off.
