I went to urgent care because I had a splinter in my foot and it was pretty well lodged in deep to where I couldn’t get it out even after soaking it. So I reluctantly went in . I was told they couldn’t see me, I’d have to come back, so I did. So the nurse ( I assume it was a nurse but she never addressed herself by name or title) started to dig at the site with her tweezers, which I could of and did do at home but was unsuccessful because of the pain. I told her to stop because it hurt too bad. I came because I assumed things would be done more professionally and it would have been numbed because of the pain. She became a little upset in my opinion, and said, “ it’s going to hurt with the numbing medication too”. She then proceeds to come back with a 3 inch needle to inject the site with. Then jams that needle in me which felt like an inch or two. It felt like it was on purpose because I made her take the extra steps to go get it. Damn, yea it did hurt, you were right, but I think she made sure of it. The whole thing could have been done with a butterfly needle and not hurt me as much. That’s the only problem I had, after it was numbed, it was ok. But maybe they need more training on choosing needle sizes. I’ve had good experiences in the past, but nobody WANTS to come in, it’s a necessity , at least for me. It doesn’t make me want to come there next time

I was a walk in yesterday morning. The check in gal, super helpful, friendly and had to call my Insurance. Went the
extra mile for me. Was seen in timely manner by the Doctor.
Will return, kudos to your team.

Rave to NP Kelly! She is always amazing and takes her time to listen to her patients concerns. Rave to MA Justina! She was great with my intake/vitals and was very gentle with giving my injection. These ladies are amazing and hard workers!

I have been to this urgent care many times and had a good experience but I was very disappointed the other day when I made an appointment online at 5am for 4:30 that afternoon. I would have thought that if they didn’t have a provider they would have contacted me at some point during the day before I drove almost an hour to get there. Quick care saved me.

My daughter goes to Waldorf and she is 1500 miles away from home. She was ill and went to this urgent care for guidance. She was treated very cold, the provider had zero bedside manner. Told her COVID, Strep and Flu were negative a followed with “Have a good day”. No further recommendations or guidance. The entire experience lacked compassion for this young lady away from home not feeling well. As a mom and an RN I am disgusted. I can’t be there to help her and expected at minimum compassion for my daughter. The outcome would be the same with no prescriptions and that is understandable but the lack of human compassion is what makes me feel unsettled. Several of her college friends have had a less than pleasant experience at this same urgent care. The reputation amongst Waldorf students is less than favorable. Quite sad as they are a large population Mercy care has potential to serve.
I do not recommend this urgent care for any patient that is in need of a little compassion as they are away from home.

Recently I had a terrible experience. The front staff was great, nursing was great, but the provider was not helpful at all. I can't recommend this location and have contacted their customer service with no response as of yet.

It was honestly a waste of time, they don’t handle the situation I went in for and sent me on my way with the same pain and discomfort I went in with

I've been twice recently. Both times, I walked in when it was fairly quiet. The new Nurse/Dr, Jiĺl is super nice, listens to your concerns and helpful! She has a ton of knowledge and is an all-round good person. Also, my check-in person Toni was very helpful & friendly!
