Pikes Peak State Park is a nice park with beautiful and spectacular views of the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. The drive is scenic. It has walking trails that lead to waterfalls and other scenic walks. Trails can be busy. The park is dog-friendly. There is a picnic area and a building with tourist-friendly shops. Restrooms are open and very clean. The campground is close by. It is an amazing experience with an absolutely gorgeous view.
Amazing experience! The drive up and down is scenic with a pinch of thrill. Make sure to listen to driving instructions, as this drive can be hard on your vehicle if you operate wrongfully. Once you get to the peak, they have a nice building with several tourist-friendly shops. Would go again.
