One of the cleanest & very convenient can redemption centers I've ever gone to. The owner is super friendly & very helpful. Yes you only get 4 cents for your 5 cent can but the experience of returning your pop cans there is well worth losing a penny trust me.

A Great place to take cans to. Friendly and clean. I do not mind the 1 cent can charge at all as it is well worth it for the friendly service at a place close to home

I have been cashing in cans-bottles for a long time now and yes this redemption center gives you 4 cents a can and 5 cents if presorted bags, but if you think about it you don't have to drive to estherville and wait 30min or longer then you don't get cheated out of more money when your there.

I've actually looked into the laws for redeeming cans and bottles in Iowa. It's actually against the law, in Iowa, to give less than 5 cents for each can and bottle, unless there's an agreement between the redemption center and customer BEFORE counting the cans or bottles. It doesn't matter if you have signs that say that you pay less than a nickel for them, it's still a misdemeanor.

This place does not want your business. They have an entire sheet of rules which makes redeeming cans a hassle and nearly impossible.

So they run cans through the machine and charge you for the privalige. Should give the full nickle .
