Even though they were booked solid for the week, Bill was able to slip my van in for service the next day. I was back on the road in less than 48 hours from when my van broke down. Many thanks!”

“If there was a choice of 10 stars I would put 11. The BEST place in Iowa for ALL of your glass repair or installment of glass. They were able to find me a windshield for my Cadillac in Arkansas and did a perfect removal and installation of said windshield. And the price, well, let's just say they are as competitive as anyone in the Hawkeye State!”

“Barney's was a lifesaver. My Ford e350 cutaway van (aka shuttle bus) lost acceleration right at the I-80 exit in Newton, IA (was heading to Iowa City, IA from Jackson Hole, WY). I called the Newton police to help get me to safety after I had reversed on the on-ramp and was tucked on the right turn onto the on-ramp (a hazard for semi-trailers). The police called Barney's - I believe it was Barney himself who showed up with the tow. He hopped in and got it to the other side of the on-ramp safely. His shop was right up the street, so he instructed me to go up the road and followed me just in case I lost acceleration again. It was a Saturday afternoon and then the following week was holiday. Given these factors, I knew it probably be a good week before diagnosis and fix. Barney's had it ready to go in a week's time (in business days). Turns out it was the fuel filter as Barney had suspected. I called twice for updates and everyone was really friendly - I believe I spoke to Mark on the specifics. I also wasn't charged for tow or the service call on a Saturday, which I really appreciated. My father is a diesel mechanic and so I'm very familiar with shops and the business of it all - I can tell you wholeheartedly that these people are the real deal, honest, and fair.”
“This man was great. Our car broke down on I-80 a few miles from Newton. He gave us advice on how to get towed after 5 when most places are closed. He drove us to a motel and looked at the car the next morning. When I phoned to pay him he said no charge. He gets 5 stars”

“The service department is lucky to have Luke!I was on a long roadtrip through the area, had just pushed my car through a blizzard, and needed last minute help servicing my car as a result. This dealership was right along my route, so I called the service department less than 30 minutes ahead to ask if I could make a pit stop. Even with this last minute request, Luke was helpful and speedy, ensuring my car got necessary maintenance to run efficiently. Everyone was in high spirits and welcoming when we got there, and I was back on the road with a happy car shortly after.(Bonus point for the organized toy area that kept my son occupied).”
