“Omg I wish there was more than a five star rating because these people sure deserve it. I accidentally missed my first appointment today and called and apologized and asked if they could still get me in for my needed oil change and they were very willing to take me a half hour later and no problem ?. These people are so nice and very friendly and kind and accommodating that I will definitely be back. The prices reasonable and didn't mind that I had to bring my little dog with me as well ☺️ thanks so much guy's ? ?”
“I've been to bad mechanics in Iowa City, and I've been to good ones. Iowa City Tire is squarely one of the good ones. The customer service is unrivaled, they're honest about pricing, and are quick to ask you questions/let you know if something pops up that you weren't expecting in their car. I wouldn't go anywhere else. (It doesn't hurt that they have free cookies and beer too.)”
“We had a very scary Sunday road trip to Iowa City in which my car was making a grinding noise. We drove a long way with this noise, hoping when we got to Iowa City we could quickly get it fixed. Because it was Monday and we didnt know anyone in town we were skeptical. Still, we had to be back home on Monday. Our first call was to Dave & Pat Seydel’s, found in a Google search. Pat said on the phone he couldn’t promise anything until he diagnosed. I brought the car in, went with Ed on a drive so he could hear the noise, and before 1 pm they were finished with the repair. We had already paid a “mobile mechanic” to help us on the road but they had made the wrong repair and ate up seven hours doing other things. It was such a relief to have found an honest, capable car repair place after what we’d been through. I have to say the best part about writing this review is knowing they don’t need it. They've got so many people singing their praises because they're that good.”

“While driving cross country my Toyota Venza Hybrid informed me that I needed an oil change. We pulled into the town of LeClaire, IA, hoping to find a quick solution and a friendly woman at their local visitor center sent me to a Valvoline Oil Change Center. After waiting for 30+ minutes they told me that they didn’t have enough oil to complete the job! How can a company that specializes in changing oil not have enough oil? We found Jiffy Lube a few minutes away. They had me in and out in about 15 minutes! Great service!”
“Austin was so great and helpful! Any AC was blowing hot and he could have told me anything was wrong and charged me for it, but he explained the problem so well and helped me just recharge it! Told me to come back if it started again and we can look into other issues! Usually I go other places for oil, etc but just for his great, fair, and kind service I will be switching here for any repairs they can do!”
“Got 4 new tires. One of them lost a significant amount of air within the first 50 miles. Instead of only getting the lug nuts adjusted, which is an included service with the purchase, they'll had to fix or replace the tire.”

No one likes to spend money on vehicle repairs, but it is a necessary part of vehicle-ownership and with Chis being a very honest and polite person to work with, it makes conducting the service-needs your vehicle a very pleasant experience.
