“Friendly staff. Bruce gave my group complimentary lessons. Made all the difference. The snack area has the world’s thinnest and most tasty French fries. More like French fried potato slices. Try them! The golf course is well kept and 9 hole was plenty for 3 for the afternoon.”

“We hosted our daughter's wedding reception at the Heights Rooftop and were very pleased with the experience. Sara Schminke was our main contact person and she was great to work with. She was above and beyond at communicating, answering and solving our questions. She was able to listen to our ideas and goals, and she worked diligently with us to come up with excellent solutions. The venue itself was wonderful. The view from the rooftop was magical,, and the overall feeling of the room was beautiful. The food was delicious. The staff was outstanding...friendly and hardworking. We highly recommend this venue.”
“How much to do with the building or the organization that runs it. On Wednesday mornings they have a free breakfast for people in need or whatever. And I went to it for the first time. It does have a nice historic location right next to other things downtown.”
“Wonderful (FREE) art museum on the University of Iowa campus. Stanley has a fantastic collection. The museum is not very large, so it is perfect for a visit with kids and nice for a non-daunting visit as an adult. They do regular programming here for youth and adults. When we visited there was a scavenger hunt oriented game for kids. The staff was very professional and friendly. They made us feel really welcome. One thing to note - food and drink are not allowed on the collection level. They have lockers free of charge to store your belongings.”
“Geoff Tate....hand down, amazing... enough said. The First Ave Club, love the people , the atmosphere just an all around good time. Little hot but were able to come and go as u please to get fresh air...most definitely a good time”
“Went to an orientation for college with my daughter. Super nice and professional students and staff. Really interesting building. The main lounge has four huge fireplaces and the biggest chandeliers I've ever seen, dating back to 1847?! So cool. Go Hawks!”
“We used them for a graduation party. We rented a tent, tables, and chairs. They were prompt and pleasant in their communications. Our tent was blown over in a storm. I called them and they already knew and had a team coming out to reset it. Outdoor events are tricky and I am grateful for their care and attention. Would recommend and use them again.”
“Britt Garman is an absolutely stellar bouncer. She really knows how to protect and serve. I wouldn’t mess with her if i were you. Fully have seen her take down 5 grown men all on her own while stamping hands. an icon on all levels.”
“Stayed for a week on a business trip. Never been to Cedar Rapids before and Heidi the concierge at the front desk went out of her way to recommend great places to for our team eat and some local trails within walking distance that I could explore nearby! I would recommend the Radisson to anyone traveling for business in the Cedar Rapids area.”
“Stayed at this location last week for one night until I was able to fly back home to FL after the storm. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and it's so convenient. Rooms are clean and the staff is fantastic!”
“It was fun! Great for entire family. Tweets and teens may find the activities more geared towards younger kids. My 10 year old enjoyed the big slide, the bounce pad, the zip line, and the hamster wheel. Tractor ride is about 15 min long and free. You need to purchase tickets for the paintball and the corn shooter. They have alcohol (seltzers) and beer. 2 types of doughnuts: glazed apple cider or cinnamon sugar apple cider sold each by half a dozen for $8. They also have doughnut holes. Apple cider slushies for $6. They have other items for sale, along with a few other things to eat. Pet friendly. I recommend purchasing tickets online in advance- save yourself $3 a ticket. Cute place!”
