Super kind. Super helpful. I am so grateful they were there in our time of need! Personable and knowledgeable staff who made us out-of-staters feel welcome and well taken care of.
We were on I-29, and our car died at night near town. We were able to limp to town and get a motel room, and first thing in the morning I called Midwest Auto Repair. Though they were fully booked, they were willing to work us in to try to diagnose the issue. Gil quickly figured out what was wrong, but needed a part. The closest one was in Sioux City, and they were willing to drive up there that day to pick it up so they could get us fixed up and on the road! (One of their friends in that town actually ended up picking it up for them and driving it down.) Gotta love small town American hospitality and neighborliness!
We were back on the road by 2pm with a perfectly fixed vehicle! I am so, so grateful for their kindness and expertise, and I cannot recommend them enough!

Midwest Auto Repair ask for Gil!He was very kind, nice didn’t take advantage of our bad situation, just a honest cool guy who worked us in after being stuck in Onawa ,IA for several days! His shop is very nice and service was 10 Star! Prices are unbelievably fair! You need automotive help, this is the place to come! A Wonderful business!

Great people and fix my car for a fair price. The only thing is they dont work with warranty. So I couldn't use my warranty for the vehicle and just ended up paying out of pocket.

Biggest crook in onawa. Do not do not take anything to this thief. He will charge u for doing nothing. I'm doing it myself. If he does quote u a price it's ungodly amount. Do not do not go to this thief.

My fiance stopped here when his truck broke down during a work trip. Gil went above and beyond, getting the part needed ordered, delivered, and then fixed in the same day. Great customer service!

Stopped at 4 pm on Friday before holiday weekend to get an emergency repair done on tire and everyone was very accommodating and fixed the flat quickly and we were back on the road. Thanks!
