I don't like when a bank limiting the amount of money I want to withdraw. I have a lot of bill to pay. Please this one have to change.

Kaleb, who appears to be the branch manager, refused to help me find a banker who can assist with a function the US Treasury requires to complete certain tasks with regard to treasury notes. The Treasury says that this person is available at banks. Although Kaleb did call the other Ottumwa branch to see if they could take care of it, after they said no, Kaleb became very unhelpful, stating Corporate won't help either, and basically showed me the door. This is particularly disappointing when my family has been banking here for decades and US Bank is one of the largest banks in the nation meaning they should offer routine and customary services. In contrast, Wells Fargo offered to escalate my request to Wells Fargo Corporate to find a banker that can complete this task for me.US Bank has a notoriously poor reputation nationwide. Although all national banks have poor reputations, Wells Fargo seems to be the best of the lot. Local banks and credit unions are the best option for people who don't have a specific need for a national bank.

First of all they no longer answer their phones at either location. I was told they didn't have any help. The lobby is closed quite often. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. I'm in the process of changing banks. Everyone I talked to seems to think they are a out to close

They wanted 7 dollars to cash a check wrote on there account. If it’s a check and it’s your customer you should cash the check. That is not customer service and I would never bank with them. I refused to pay them for my money and kept the check.

My husband and I tried to apply for a house loan, and Carmen was supposed to take care of us. She ignored our calls and the realtors calls. It took us several days to get a hold of her and ask what's going on with the process. She claimed she sent out our approval in the mail and it would come in on Friday, but it's already Tuesday and it hasn't came in. Someone already made an offer on the house we wanted and we were too late. She pretty much was the reason why we didn't get the house. Bad service.
