Worst experience spending $32,000 a person could ever had. If you deal with Dray ask for someone else. He’s the definition of arrogance and smug. I wouldn’t anything again from SW Marine.

CUSTOMER SERVICE? Just bought a boat, and I wanted to put a 4 cycle kicker on it. I didn't fully understand how much heavier 4 cycles are. Just bought a new 20 hp for $3500. from SW Marine. Got it home and realized without tilt and trim It was gonna be to heavy to left. So I called Drey, the salesman who sold it to me. To see if I could add tilt and trim. He said no. I had not started it or even hooked gas up to it yet, would he consider trading it in for he 15 or the 9.9 with tilt that they had in stock. Drey just responded,"no".I just spent 3500 dollars and there is nothing he would be willing to do to help me with my problem. I planned to replace the 150hp next spring. It is a 12000 dollar motor. It won't happen with them now.

I had my 60 hp Yamaha carburetors rebuilt and oil pump replaced in time for me to make my trip to Minnesota .They did a great job getting this project done!

Horrible experience started with calling to price a new excel boat told the salesman I wanted a 1860 with no add on he told me they don’t sell boats that are plain and he couldn’t help me so I went out of state to purchase a new boat two weeks later called to price some parts for a Yamaha thinking maybe the parts department wouldn’t be so bad called them at 8 in the morning called them again at 1 finally got an email at 3 stating they can’t find the oem parts they would look into aftermarket haven’t heard anything back since I will never recommend any one go here

Purchased a 70 Yamaha for our 18’ Misty Harbor Pontoon which was underpowered with a 40 Yamaha. Josh at the counter is extremely knowledgeable and fair. I appreciated the straight forward no BS approach, with no pressure of any kind. The swap was complete in one day. The trade in price on the 40 was more than fair and the honesty of the staff is excellent. I highly recommend if you are in the market for boats, motors, electronics, or if you just want an honest answer with the dealer pressure - go see SW Marine in Palo, Iowa.

Very good staff. Very knowledgeable with the products they sell. Did not feel pressured into buying something I did not want, instead was guided into getting what I needed. I am very happy with my purchase of my new Lund boat and will plan to do future business with SW Marine. Will definitely recommend to others. My salesman Steve was amazing to work with!

I recommend SW Marine for they are avid outdoorsmen. They know what works, what doesn't work, and straight talk is their selling point.I have had lower units repaired, upgraded trailers for duck rigs, and now they have me in a fish/ski boat for the entire family can enjoy. They carry the best products and do not like wasting anyone's money which is what I like.I cannot thank Shawn, Smitty, and the rest of SW Marine! They were great to work with and great with my kids during the sale process. SW Marine involved my kids and my kids loved how they talked to them as adults even though they are 8 and 10. I asked them for an appointment (because it’s a two hour drive from my home) to have a warranty issue looked at on my boat I purchased from them 5 months ago. Arrived early for said appointment only to be told it would be “ a while” before they could get it in, and that they would call when I could come back to pick it up. The guy didn’t even remember speaking to me less than 24 hours prior and hadn’t bothered to write down said appointment. I guess once your check clears their bank they’re done with customer service for you. Sad bunch of dolts right there.
