The Work of Our Hands is the perfect store if you’re looking for one-of-kind gifts and homewares! They have a great mission because everything they sell there is Fair Trade, so purchases made there support other people in third world countries. Absolutely love this store! This is by far my favorite store to shop for fair trade goods - it’s a win win; support a local community AND a third world country. Our purchases help communities in third world countries earn income to live. Pictured are some of my absolute favorite purchases!

Ordered two of the wood frames and the wood bark bird house. Absolutely love them all. My Adirondack Guide covers are framed in these beautiful wood frames. The Work of Our Hands is a nonprofit (501c3), retail outlet, supported by volunteers, which markets gifts and crafts made by artisans in developing countries. The products in our store come from artisans living in impoverished circumstances in over forty different countries around the world. Volunteers , work together to provide an outlet for handicrafts from artisans around the world who would otherwise be unemployed or under-employed. Our name is taken from Psalm 90:17: "May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."
