The employee nick is the worst employee i have ever dealt with at any store.hes the rudest,ignorant,judgemental person on everything you buy.you go into the store and he follows you staring you down,like you are going to steal somethinh when ive been in there a million times.always so so rude when checking out.i wish self checkout worked so i could avoid him .
Please do everyone a huge favor and fire him.you have lost a ton of customers because of nick.

I’m glad to have this store in Peosta, but before the fire the staff was great EXCEPT NICHOLAS!!! Has TERRIBLE customer service I hate!! To walk in this store and he just stares not a hello welcome to dollar general do you need help finding anything or nothing ? I always try to use self checkout to not have to curse him out cause it’s coming he is very RUDE to everyone, not to mention after the fire you god rid of all the old staff but kept his RUDE AZZZZZ I don’t know why, but keep in mind this can change people from patronizing this store ? but I’m letting you know now that if he come out of left field with me I’ll cuss him out from hear to eternity just a FYI and you need to meet with him ASAP.. have the day you deserve!!!

Good thing I don’t mind checking myself out without an employee discount. Every time I go, I’m pretty sure the employees are hiding out. Do humans actually work there? I’ve never seen one!

I was super excited that they opened in Peosta. After the fire I heard that they only kept one employee. I found this surprising as they had a bunch of great employees before the fire. However, I was blown away that the only one they kept was their worst. This guy is absolutely horrible. You ask him how his day is going, he grunts. You tell HIM to have a nice day, he responds, "probably not". I don't know if this kid is related to ownership or what, but he has no business dealing with customers. If I walk in and see him, I walk out. It's that bad. I'd give him negative stars if I could. They do have a bunch of other great employees, but the fact they keep this guy employed keeps me telling everyone to avoid this location. Until he's gone I will not be back.

What is the purpose of self checkout if you still need assistance for items? And nobody stops what they are doing to assist? Lost my business in the peosta store. I will go elsewhere where they care and want my money.

The cleanest Dollar General I have ever shopped. The customer service is exceptional and the store is super organized and full. The manager obviously has an amazing team and the appearance of the store is important to them. Thank you Peosta DG Team!

This store is a great addition to Peosta! The employees are super friendly & I appreciate that it is open until 10pm.
