I contacted Tami at Price Electric in the morning, and within 24 hours, she had two technicians scheduled to complete all my electrical needs. I never expected it to be done so quickly. Tami answered my questions, was thorough, and was super responsive. Andy was the technician who came to my house. He was on time and communicated with me, as needed, throughout the job. They were honest and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Price Electric for any of your electrical needs. Price Electric = Price gouging! $1400 for 1.5 hours of simple work! When confronted about the extremely high price, they said "opps, we charged you for something twice", and pretended it was a mistake! (A relative of mine booked this work without my knowledge, and my relative does not know construction at all, so they took clear advantage) They would have all 1400 (including their "oops" charge) if I did not catch them in their price gouging, and call them out! They STILL have not completed the work to this day! They promised to come back and finish the task, and never did, since they were already paid. (likely since I complained about price, and made them drop it). They were paid in full, but that is ONLY because I didn't want to go to court! Not worth it. Avoid these price gouging scam artists! As a fellow contractor of 25 years, these type gouge/scam companies make me sick! They give the good contractors a bad image! I suggest avoiding this company!Service: Installation

I used the convenient website to put in an inquiry and heard back in minutes with a quote and estimated response time. When I approved the quote, I was given a time frame for arrival as well as the electrician’s name. He showed up on time and was very thorough in explaining the problems. Price Electric allowed me to get the hot tub of my dreams. And you know what, I bet they can do the same for you! Yes. *Points at you* A hot tub for you (and new electrical panel). *Points at someone else* A hot tub for you (and new electrical panel). Let's all install hot tubs, Eastern Iowa!My not at all practical pipe dream of having a hot tub to bask in all began with a hot tub. Once it was secured and... we realized we actually could not just plug it in to the existing electrical outlet. (How naive of me to assume it was that easy?!) It took a hot minute to find an electrician. But once we found Price Electric they made it happen. They were responsive. They were quick acting. They got the parts and installed the electrical panel the day we had hoped. They even accidentally didn't have a part (doh) and STILL made it happen within 24 hours. Both securing the part and sending an employee out the following day. AGAIN, making my not at all practical but oh so worth it hot tub dreams a reality.Price Electric was prompt, professional, competitively priced and overall a dream to work with. Do yourself a favor. Get yourself a hot tub... and when you, too, realize you need to update your electrical... call Price Electric.

Ryan and Cody came out yesterday afternoon after we had a tree branch fall and pull our power line off the house. They worked tirelessly into the night 10:40 pm) to get everything reattached to our home. I was very impressed with the pride they took in doing their best work. Tami, the receptionist, was so cheerful & sounded so happy that I called. She helped me set up an appt. & sent out Jacen, a wonderful electrician, who phoned me shortly before he arrived, addressing me by name. Jacen was very knowledgeable & did a great job! Ask the owner how little he cares about customer service and customer satisfaction. I am just a nobody to him. Service tech neglect caused damage to my range and he doesn't think I am important enough to try to make it right. I will NEVER use Price again and if someone asks me, I would not recommend you because your customer service sucks.
