Im in Rock Valley from out of town. My employees need some battery's. Waited in the parking lot for the place to open at 8am like it says online. Their hours aren't posted on the window and noone is here.

This DG and it's employees are worthless. Went there tonight just after 9PM. Online says they close at 10PM. When I pulled up, I watched one employee look at me and yell "WHAT?!.. All lights are still on inside and 3 employees standing around cash register yapping. I walked up to door to find it locked. Lady comes walking toward door, then stops, threw her hand up & said "ope sorry we're closed" as she turned around & walked away. I counted 6 vehicles pull up after me and all were turned away.

The store is always dirty. The manager that is currently there tells customers she's Not a bank if someone.eone pays with a 50 or 100 bill. There is cash in the safe. Have to wait forever to get someone to check you out because their is only one register. Manager is rude. That's why most of the people only last a month.

This Dollar General location has plummeted downhill in the past few years. Aside from poorly stocked shelves, you'll have to weave your way through the maze of boxes and merchandise scattered all over the floors and blocked aisles. Many of their items are over-priced given their cheap and poor quality; half the time the price or discount advertised on the shelf is not what rings up at the register and staff won't honor it. Finding a cashier or employee to help you is a rare exception. As many others have commented, they are often so short-staffed that the store will be randomly closed during days/times they are supposed to be open. Save your time and go to another store that you can trust to be open and stocked with the items you need.

Didn’t want to break my $50 bill because I was only the 2nd customer of the day. I only needed $20 back so I guess they don’t carry any cash in any of their drawers. So don't pay in cash in the mornings I guess

Last time in this store I purchased a small item in order to get some cash back. The two workers did not know how to complete a cash back transaction. When I asked to just return the time I purchased, they didn’t know how to complete a return. Staff seem to need more in-depth training.

Very dirty, rude staff, can’t get down isles well. Never know when they are open or not. They need more staff. I drive to Hull to the dollar general there. That one is amazing

one of your employees is really rude and grumpy, not all people have to use a credit or debit card, therefore you always have to have change and you still get upset if I don't have 20 to 1 dollar bills, maybe for the next time I'll take my pot of coins ??♀️

Shelves were bare and they didn't have what I needed. they are always sitting in the office and it takes forever to get help. They also complain about each other to customers.
