We've had USA Communications for phone and internet service for several years and have been very happy with it. Whenever we have questions, we can call and talk to an actual person. Also great customer service! Everyone there is always very friendly and helpful!

My husband and I are very happy with our USA Communications in Shellsburg, Iowa. They are very dependable and we have had great service. The tech people were very thorough and explaining everything to us. We have recommended them to a few of our other family members.

The folks at USA Communications, Shellsburg, Ia. have been so very good to us over the years. I've heard so many negative comments from people in other areas and surrounding state about providers who don't come near your level of professionalism and courtesy. If ever I work again, I think I'd like to be associated with people like yours.

I love the service. Fiber is very responsive in my opinion. It does what I need. Streams movies and games. I work from home and use VOIP and that works well. The price is not bad compared to cable or DSL. The customer service is good. The staff answer my questions and help out when needed. I know some people say the network is slow but I am sure it also depends what speed you are getting. Just like a car, some times you have to pay more to get more and your internet purchase should be made solely on your needs. If you are working from home and using multiple devices you will need a better program. With that being said I have had very little issues with service interruptions even during big storms. I am very satisfied with USA Communications.

This so called “internet” service down right su*ks! Continuously freezing or in the “trying to connect” mode. It makes trying to watch anything a huge job! This past weekend we went even went out and purchased a new router thinking that might be the issue. Nope, scratch that idea, it’s still doing the same freezing stuff. The worst of it, the TV is the ONLY thing connected to the Internet at this time. USA Communications is a joke. Wish we had other options in our town.

Horrible provider, reliability is essentially 0 because it cuts out whenever it wants and always every night around 1 in the morning it is guaranteed to go offline for at least 5 minutes, and I know that does not sound like a huge issue at that time of night but it isn't just at night it is all the time, I have been in the middle of school projects, meetings, and various important tasks online when it just decides "nah I'm not going to work right now" go with anybody else please. I want to note I have dealt with their customer service only a little bit and have no thought on them.

Reading reviews here made me nervous to go with USA Comm when we first moved to their service area. Needless to say, I've been pleasantly surprised with how the service has been the past 2 years. 100 mbps up & download speeds regularly seeing around 70 which is plenty for us. The price is a slightly higher than you'd see with other providers but there is no limit on data, you're likely in a rural area so it makes sense, and I've literally never had any interruption on service (knock on wood). While it might cost slightly more, you get more reliable connection and uptime than you see with Mediacom.
