This was the first Aldi's in town and used to be decent. However once the Morningside location opened this one went downhill.
One or the other should be converted to a Trader Joe's.

There are two Aldi’s in Sioux City - I prefer the layout of this store, however, I shop the other for two reasons (1) the morningside store has several self checkout stations and I almost never have to wait in line to check out while the Floyd Blvd store has only lanes with cashiers and often not is staffed by only one person with a waiting line of several customers (2) it seems to me that the Floyd Blvd store management does not focus training on customer service - I have always had friendly interactions with employees at the morningside store - here I find cashiers who appear to not care - slow, never smile or greet me as a customer - when two stores of same change differ so much it always comes down to managements selection and training of employees - my belief is “don’t blame the clerk” for less than good service - instead blame the boss

Rude cashier name Citlali, tossing my veggies into the cart. No hello, no thank you. She look like she was frustrated mad at us or something. Won’t be back here.

Looks like they regularly have infected meat and produce they have to clean out their shelves. Yikes! Very nasty, don’t buy their meat or produce unless you want salmonella.

Veggies and vegetables fruits, much better than Walmart across the street. Price is cheaper 1.39 a pound for grapes even hamburger is better and less expensive. Its a no brainer.

One. ONE employee in the entire store. A line of 30+ people with full carts waiting in one line. And the checker has to bag too? Not one shopper lifted a finger to do it for her to speed things up. Where are the STAFF?? I walked into the back, all around… no other staff. Asinine.

Watched the store manager scream at the Hispanic girl with dyed red hair about going to the bathroom, the manager processed to say she was going to time her and told her to come back in 3 min (weird by the way) and I timed her as well. When she came back, the manager screamed at her once again saying she took 10 minutes (she only took 6 minutes), YELLING IN FRONT OF ALL THE CUSTOMERS BY THE WAY. I’ve came to this Aldi’s many times and seen this cashier and she is someone who has made my day. To see her be treated so poorly makes me upset with the store. I hope the higher up management figures out how to straight up that Store manager. UNACCEPTABLE.

Loved the store layout, nice wide aisles, very clean and organized. This was my first Aldi experience, and I was not disappointed! I had heard about the quarter for a cart deposit, but I had forgotten about bringing your own bags, luckily had some in our car because we picked up a lot of random things! All the Aldi brand products appear to be healthier than big corp groceries, such as no artificial colors. We're so excited to come back when we can!

Need more workers to help cashier and stock . Then it will run more efficiently.
