I can't express enough gratitude for the compassionate care we received at Family Pet at Perry Creek Vet during such a difficult time. We had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, and the team went above and beyond to ensure it was a peaceful experience.
They allowed us to have the euthanasia outside, in the warmth of the sun, surrounded by family. The serene setting made a heart-wrenching moment a bit more bearable. The staff was incredibly kind, respectful, and sensitive to our needs, making sure we felt supported every step of the way.
Thank you, Family Pet at Perry Creek Vet, for your compassion and understanding. You helped us honor our dog's life in the most beautiful way. We are forever grateful.

My poor pup has had outrageous allergies that have fully overwhelmed his little body, The staff at Family Pet got my guy in for an appointment sooner than anyone else. The tech listened to the whole story about Ted without making me feel that I was talking too much. The vet examined him thoroughly and came up with a sound treatment plan. A BIG thank you to the Humane Society of the Siouxland for providing me with a voucher to cover the cost of the exam- I wouldn’t have been able to afford to bring him in to the vet without it! The prescribed medications were reasonably priced* and I was able to get all of them with a little bit of help from a friend. So overall it was a success!
*after I got home and researched the meds, I found out the antihistamines can be purchased over the counter which I will do in the future but this knowledge doesn’t affect how I feel about the care Ted received- still 5⭐️ rating.

Brought my dying rabbit in on his last breath and told me I needed an appointment. Are you serious. Apparently you need an appointment for a dying animal in your arms and by that time the animal would be dead. My bunny died 10 minutes later in my car trying to make it to a different Animal Hospital. They wouldn’t even take a look at him cause of a stupid appointment.
