Iowa Nebraska State Bank was great. They however abruptly merged with BankFirst which is a joke! First there was no announcement. Customers were just showing up on a Saturday to do their banking and paper signs taped to the doors saying closed for merger. WTH?!?! No one bothers to tell us the customer. Since changing over to BankFirst I can, with the utmost confidence say DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BANKFIRST. Number one, my check is direct deposited on Friday morning. My wife goes in at lunch to get quarters. The BankFirst policy is not to do over the counter transactions the day of the deposit. My wife had to go to the ATM, get cash out, then she could get quarters. This is just one example of their complete lack of care for their customers. Who has ever heard of that? Secondly, everyone occasionally goes negative in their account. Iowa Nebraska charged $30 for this, BankFirst charges $64 per occurrence. Again, rip off the customer! I am not sure how they can even be in business as they were one of the failing banks back in 2009. I guess if they overcharge the customers, treat them like junk then they can do business. Sorry so long but bottom line = DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BANKFIRST, unless you want poor customer service and extremely high charges. We will be taking our business elsewhere ASAP!
