We have taken our 3 dogs here since they were puppies. 2 lived to be 14 plus years old. And Otis is now 15 years old. The breeds were shitzu and maltichon is Otis. Dr. Steve is very knowledgeable and he takes the time to listen to what's going on with our babies. Thanks everyone for caring for them. Much appreciated. Friendly staff ta boot ♡♡

The techs were very nice here, but the vet was not thorough at all for my dogs wellness check and didn’t address my concerns. I ended up getting another wellness check at a competitor which uncovered some issues that got quickly and appropriately addressed for my fur babies.

Great place to go! What can I say. Fair prices, and got all his shots done, they don't try to up charge you like other places. Dr . Steven J. Hemmingstad took time to talk with me about everything that is going on with my cat ?. 11 years old, but he has a form of ear cancer and explained to me that he's going to live out a normal life and may need some ear ointment down the road. He's on a special prescription food and suggested I stay with the brand that I'm on because it's working. Note, not the brand he sells for the same issue. A very honest person, the receptionist was polite and wasn't in a rush to collect the money as we talked for about 5 minutes before I paid and left.

Every visit felt very transactional. Dr Steve Hemmingstad never spent any more than 5-10 mins with us every visit. He showed no concern for my cat when I explained everything that was going on. A few months back we took our cat in to get checked as he was showing signs of diabetes so we SPECIFICALLY asked for him to be checked for diabetes & have blood work done.The vet brushed it off as nothing & said my cat was just a little overweight. Fast forward to a few days ago, we took our cat in again to be checked as new symptoms have showed up recently. Dr Steve showed no concern whatsoever AGAIN & didn’t even bother to examine him or run any blood work this time. Again he brushed it off as nothing & said it was issues with his food so he just sold us a $40 bag of food. So today we took him to a different vet for a second opinion, come to find out he does in fact have diabetes & neuropathy & they said this should have been caught in the tests that were supposedly done MONTHS ago!! When it came time for them to transfer records, there was NOTHING in the records showing he had any blood work done or anything about his injury he had years ago, there were hardly any records at all. DO NOT trust this vet. I’m beyond upset, these people clearly don’t care about our pets. Safe to say I will NEVER be going back. If you love your fur babies you definitely shouldn’t take them here.

Frist time taking my dog there to get his teeth cleaned and some pulled if needed . I was disappointed in the teeth cleaning . Who ever cleaned his teeth did not clean his back teeth good at all looks like they were not cleaned at all and it cost way more then I've every had to pay to have his teeth cleaned . I will be going somewhere else for his future health issues.
