LaunchPAD Children's Museum is a clean and up-to-date spot with a great variety of things to do, offering ample space. It is a nice place to entertain younger kids, especially during winter months, and has been a favorite for many. The staff is often described as amazing, friendly, helpful, and super sweet, putting on daily activities and going out of their way to assist. Many toddlers and preschool-age children love it and have an absolute blast. The museum is generally considered best for younger children, with a suggested cutoff age of around 10; tweens, teens, and older kids may not get much enjoyment after 30 minutes. Some feel the $14 admission price is high for the experience and size, suggesting it might be better suited for a lower fee. A few visitors noted issues with rule enforcement, such as the height rule for the toddler area not being consistently implemented, and a desire for a more secure toddler space. Other minor critiques include a limited number of smocks for the water play area, a wish for more comfortable adult seating, and recent policy changes regarding WiFi access that some found unwelcoming. Despite these points, many families have fantastic visits and return regularly.
Came with a Kindergarten field trip. Many fun things for little hands to do.

Lots of hands on activities for all ages. The environment is clean and staff is friendly. Highly recommend whether it’s an hour or 3 that you have to spend here.

Best place in Sioux City to take young children for fun especially in winter when parks are closed.
