Wow! Petco in Sioux City Iowa is a nightmare! Never ever enough staff... I always have to wait at least 10-15 minutes in line at checkout because only 1 lane is open. Again, I am assuming that is because of the employee shortage. Sorry to sound precious. The aisles have boxes on palettes that you have to dodge.. What, no overnight stock person that the majority of box stores have? I go there to get Fresh Pet for my adopted dog Maisy, which is a picky eater, and I will just find it elsewhere. It is not worth getting off of work and going to a place with chaos that makes me wanna FREAK OUT! Please hire more staff and an overnight stock person because I don't enjoy giving bad reviews, but I'm not afraid to.

My dog and I greatly enjoy visiting our local Petco! The workers are so friendly and welcoming. My dog enjoys the pets , love and treats she receives from them! My dog gets so excited when I tell her we are going to Petco and she enjoys picking out her own treat!

Awful customer service. did a online pick up with them i didn’t get all the items called to ask for a refund and all of them are so absolutely rude and have the worst attitude over something they messed up on prob won’t be going back didn’t even receive my refund bc they didn’t want to help. also was on hold for almost an hour for them to end up hanging up

Staff is great! But, if you're a trucker delivering here be advised!Go in by Bomgars, go thru the fence/gate. That gate closes at 17:30.Your dock is the orange looking thing.

Although stocked up on pet fish, hamster gerbil lizard bird spider (s) they're fresh outta turtles with the exception of two tortoises.

First off the place smells. Terribly. It basically smacks you in the face the moment you walk in. Horrible. The place is dirty, cluttered, and messy. At least it's organized-ish. Prices are fine. Not better or worse than other pet suppliers in town. You can adopt animals. My visit was annoying because there were 5 people in line behind me and a manager was just standing by the door twiddling their thumbs. I'm sure they could have jumped in and worked a register for a few minutes. Plastic bags cost $.10. FYI Bring your own tote bag.

Went in yesterday to get a dog bed on Black Friday for my puppy, and let’s just say things went horribly. First I’m going to state I have a mental disability that prevents me from being able to go out and drive at times, so this shopping experience was a really big deal for me. I picked out a bed for $15 ( I have the phone app that allowed you to scan and check item prices), and the store as well add a sign posted saying the bed I selected as well was %10 off. When I arrived home later around 6:30pm, my bank statement said that I was charges $50 for this dog bed! I instantly called the store back and they told me that I could only get the the difference back of what I paid if I came back the same day. There is no city transportation after 6pm and treating myself turned into be sadly selling a dog bed. I am unemployed, so taking $35 from when the sale was clearly posted in store and this was the employee at fault. Completely in acceptable, and I wish I could get my money back! Make sure you price match or show them there sign in store because they won’t give you the sale in store posted discount!
