I had to switch from a drug store in Spencer because I couldn’t seem to make it down there before they closed. Which brings me to ONE of the BEST things about Lewis Drug their HOURS are actually for their customers and not for their happiness!! So far they have been very helpful & friendly to me especially with my switching over & I love the mobile notification letting me no when my meds are ready (something my other place didn’t do)The only thing I could say negative which is only because I have been there at times and they aren’t by far not the most expensive for out pocket meds (walmart & Walgreens are the highest) with (thrifty white & Hy-Vee being the cheapest) But over all if you have insurance and like flexibility this the place to go :)

When my small-town drug store closed its doors, I asked their employees where I should transfer my prescriptions. To a person they recommended Lewis Drug in Spirit Lake. They told me that I would really appreciate the personal attention and friendly atmosphere. Matt, Todd, Jen and the pharmacy techs, and all the staff have always been friendly, compassionate, helpful and willing to give of their time to make sure 100 percent of my questions are answered and that my pharmaceutical needs are met. They aren't the closest drug store to me, but they are well-worth the extra effort to take my business to them.

The pharmacist said he didn't feel like filling my prescription after I'd had surgery. He threw me out then laughed about. Malpractice

Disappointed . Doctors sent in a refill . I went to get it the next day and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about . All they said was "oh" . Left for 5 mins , came back and said we will fill it now. Id expect any meds to be filled the same day they are sent in. Some people cant go without their meds

Your voice mail system may be helpful to the staff but it is NOT customer friendly. I simply wanted to ask if a prescription was available and there was no "option" among the 10 or so that the automated message offered that allowed me to ask a question of anyone. I would rate your customer service in this area Poor.

Most of the emploeyes here are friendly, the two male pharmacists are excellent & Mindy is always great, but only about 50% of the time are my prescriptions ready. I use the mobile app to refill prescriptions, which is really a great app, but unfortunately most of the time they must overlook it because my meds aren't filled when I get there, which I'll normally submit a couple days in advance. That should be plenty of time to fill, but apparently they don't regularly check refill requests via the mobile app, which is strange to me since most pharmacies use technology like this for this purpose. So, if I'm out of refills or they don't have a medication in stock (which happens every month), it takes a day or a couple days for my mediction to be ready after already submitting it days ahead of time. If they could get this kink worked out & have my refills ready the next day or even a couple days after I submit them, I'd be a happy gal!
