Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with Kathi at Sanford Health Home Medical Equipment in Spirit Lake, IA. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to medical supplies and insurance coverage. She knows the rules, guidelines, and products in order to provide the best patient care and advocacy. Kathi went over and above to provide patient education for my medical equipment needs.

Kathy was fantastic! I went there today to get a scooter and she noticed that the boot I was wearing was not on properly. Kathy helped me get it fixed. She was so helpful and went the extra mile. I definitely give her all the stars I can. Excellent customer service!

I am very surprised at the negative reviews. I have been to SHH several times and worked with Liz. She has been super, even calling my home a couple times to check on things. Good place, good service, good people.

The ladies at Sanford Home Medical Supply were super helpful with getting a breast pump using my insurance. They were both friendly and knowledge and made the process super smooth.

Beyond RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Was just on the phone with Kathy to get a breast pump. Gave her insurance information and she sighed several times and was complaining and I told her she didn't need to be rude to me I was not being rude to her. She told me, "I am NOT being rude (in a very raised voice)." I told her yes she was and all we needed to do was get the pump. She told me that if we didn't like it, "go buy one off Amazon, we don't just sell them." I told her we would go elsewhere and suggest EVERYONE else do the same!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

I have never in my life been treated so rudely.... I went in to check out equipment and the lady there didn't even ask if she could help me,she yelled across room and said "What do you need"? Really? I'm getting ready to have surgery so need to see about some equipment...she said who's your insurance company? I told her,she said,they don't cover that!( Let me remind you she hasn't walked up to me yet,back to me answering my questions!!) So instead of telling me prices so I could rent them,she went to other area so I left! I had surgery on Thursday June 7 in Sioux Falls,the next day I called there again thinking this lady probably just having bad day that id try again because having a total ankle fussion and bone graphing I needed a recliner...when she answered the phone she didn't even give name of business so I had to ask if it was Sanford Medical...well yes she stated so asked about renting a recliner and she sapped and said "we don't rent those"!!!! Here we go I thought,explained to her i what I had done and that I had a pain box,and she was so rude and said,what? They let you come home with that? None of your business lady I wanted to say but started crying and told her she was very rude and hung up!! I notified my Dr and told her because she told me to go there, well after last episode my Dr said stay away from there and they would not send anyone there again, my. Dr called another place in town and they set me up and where wonderful!!!! This woman needs to be fired, I've heard since this that I'm not the first she has treated like this!!!
