Out of alot of things on the shelves . I have to be careful to go in DG when NIKI CHAUDHARI is working because when...worked at their hotel COBBLESTONE INN&SUITES IN VINTON IA NIKI and her husband KUMAR harassed and verbally abused, hk staff AND RACIAL DISCRIMINATION ON former HK employees . There is also a rude gentleman cashier that is nasty and will refuse u service!

Came in this morning right at 8 when they opened (8/7/22) two employees playing music outloud in back of the store and talking to each other. I said hello and was ignored. I waited 5 minutes by the check out for them to help me, while looking right at them in the back of the store. No one helped me check out so I just left my meow mix on the counter and left.

I went to get diapers for my son knowing that the other dollar general sells the same $1 pack of diapers. I was told they were closed. It was 6pm and online it said they didn’t close until 10pm and the other dollar general in Urbana was still open and sold the same diapers. I was told they didn’t sell them anymore and they closed at 6pm???!! What!! Who closes their store at 6pm. I need diapers for a 2 year old and a baby boy and everything is already so expensive I can’t even afford gas to get to the other dollar general… I hope this changes because I love the new dollar general I just wish they would let me in and be considerate the lights were on and people were inside I just need diapers dang it ..

A great place to shop when fully staffed . I have found them all to be either very crowded or not at all crowded. There is a public restroom but sometimes its so busy they cant keep up on restocking shelf or picking up things people have pulled off the shelf and just left in the ailes. But I love that they have such a variety of things at very good prices.

Because I know the cashier's & they always joke around with us & 99 1/2% of the time they are always ready with a smile & if you can't find something (or can't reach it, my case) just ask one of them & they will help you.Even when Alco was in town, Dollar General always had PLUS sized clothes & Alco had all the skinny clothes, Thank God for Dollar General & their workers!!!!?
