“A huge thank you to the gentleman at Southern Tire Mart in Walcott who was willing to help us when we were running out of options.
We were traveling home to Ohio in a Born Free motorhome after a tire failure on I-80. We had already discovered that all six tires needed replaced, but the two inside rear dual wheels were seized on the coach and the first shop couldn't get them off.
We stopped at multiple places looking for someone willing to try. No luck.
Then we stopped at Southern Tire Mart in Walcott.
Rather than immediately telling us they couldn't do it, one of their guys said he'd give it a try. He got both seized inner dual wheels off the motorhome and installed the two new tires we already had with us, finally completing the job and getting us safely back on the road.
After dealing with probably 20+ businesses over the course of this breakdown, I've been reminded how difficult it can be to find someone who is simply willing to step up and HELP when a traveler is in a bind.
This gentleman did exactly that, and we are extremely grateful.
