I will keep this short, I had some issues with my first salesman. Once I made them aware of the issue from the first guy that answered my phone call Ryan, on to Carly, up to the manager Evan They all provided great service and did what they could. They turned a bad experience into me taking the time to rate them 5 Star's Keep up the good work Evan

Sinclair Tractor of Washington has the worst customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. We bought a brand new 1025R sub-compact tractor with attachments from them and it was delivered July 1st. When we received the tractor, we noticed the brand new mower deck had some how been scraped to the point it was missing paint. I called them right away, and the man I talked to over the phone was very condescending and treated me like I was stupid. I voiced my concerns, and he said they would call the next day to arrange someone to come look at the "small scrape". They spoke with my significant other the next day about it and were again rude with him. They said they would come pick up the tractor and leave a zero turn for us to use in the mean time. Hours went by and we still hadn't seen anyone. We had to contact the original salesman we dealt with when we bought the tractor, so we could get someone out to our house. He was very apologetic and said he would have someone out there right away. The tractor was picked up shortly after we talked to him, and a zero turn was finally dropped off. It's been 21 days now with no communication from anyone at the store as to what is going on with our equipment. My significant other contacted them Thursday July 22nd, the person he spoke with said they were surprised we hadn't gotten it yet and would have it dropped off that day. It's been almost 4 days now, and the zero turn is still here and we have not heard from anyone at the store. Our first payment is due August 1st, and we haven't been able to use the tractor. I understand that places get busy, but the lack of communication by them is unbelievable and very unprofessional. I am beyond disappointed with this business, and quite frankly I will NEVER buy another piece of equipment from them again.

If you need john deere parts you will have to get them at a john deere location just remember it will cost you much much more than they should. For example you can buy 2-3 batteries for your tractor at local auto parts store for the cost of 1 at Sinclair. This goes with any part offered at other places.
Make sure you do your research to see if part is offered somewhere else cause it could save you a lot of money

The only reason I'm giving a single star is because the turnaround time for my repair was 2 days. Parts for my repair totaled $14.19. Labor was $585.00. I was told by Alan, in person, with a handshake, that the total would be significantly less. Besides the fact he didn't even know that my JD Z930M had been returned to me, he quoted my total to be over $627.00. I don't know what kind of operation Terry is running at Sinclair Tractor in Washington, Iowa, but the inability to keep track of customer's equipment and outright lying to them about repair costs is a certain guarantee that they will never see another penny from me. Maybe they wouldn't have to charge so much for labor if all of their service technicians weren't sitting around relaxing (no doubt on the clock), as I witnessed in the shop on 5/30/18-during business hours. Truly a disheartening example of local business owners and practices.

They always have someone there to answer your questions weather it's related to John Deere or not. On top of excellent service they have up to date John Deere products on the lot outside. Also a Stihl dealer, so if u need a chainsaw, or parts for a Stihl, it's the place to go.
