The store I went to in Waterloo Iowa was dirty, and the two salesmen reeked of marijuana smoke. The guy that was helping me had white foam around the edge of his mouth. He was not knowledgeable at all and couldn't answer my questions. I learned more on the app than what he could answer for me. When asking for information about different plan options, he was actually changing my plan without my asking or permission to do so. I had him change it back and left the store as quick as possible. AT&T should be ashamed of themselves for having this store and these salesmen representing their brand.

This store has zero structure and is the most unprofessional representation of a retail store I've ever experienced when dealing with a cell phone carriers.I ordered a new iPhone 15 Max through the store (ONLY because when I went in to see about wait time on getting the new phone, they convinced me it would be much faster going through them). So once I received it in the mail on 10/16 I went in the very next day for activation, since that's what they prompted me to do! Even though in the past I would just do this through the app and set everything up at my house......When I walked in today it was a ghost town...... Fast food on the table (half eaten), pop sitting right at the main kiosk with a water ring soaking through (like it's been there a while) and no person to be found.... I sat there for close to 5 mins (basically assuming someone was in back) before someone showed up and I assumed they would come from out the back..... Nope, walked in the front door after getting out of his car. Zero urgency and seeming annoyed I was even there. After multiple attempts to try and set my phone up and sensing my annoyance he decided to tell me he's done helping me due to "my tone". At this point I'm basically done with this guy. This was the 3rd time I was in this store and each time the professionalism or lack there of continued to show.Don't believe me? Call into the store and just ask a basic question...... This store is a flat out joke and anyone who goes here over dealing with AT&T direct is wasting their time. I would shut this store down right away...... Honestly I'm so frustrated I'm considering going back to Verizon...... Best of luck!

I did not have a good experience. I got a new iPhone 14 which I do love the phone but in the beginning ATT had a lot of issues porting my phone number and when I’d call into customer service they were unable to help, very frustrating that the phone customer service is next to useless and I have to come back in store which I’m not always able to do, with my schedule. When I do get to the store the staff decides whenever that they are going on a THREE HOUR lunch break. If I would have known at first that the store and customer service was poorly ran and I was going to have to jump through hoops to get the service I need, I would have stayed away and went with a competitor. I like my new phone but the customer service here is garbage, very frustrating experience and ATT takes no accountability.

It was frustrating, but I didn't give up. Yesterday I got great customer service! Today was even better. The young man who's managing the facility is awesome.

Nicole was phenomenal. I really appreciate her. Especially giving the tough day she was already facing. I was also in search of a new car charger and she gave me one of her very own. That meant so much to me. I’ve worked in customer service for years and it was really nice to witness that kindness. I wish you the best of luck! Went in to trade in a phone and they didn't have it in stock. Ended up getting it shipped direct to the house, had it within 48 hours of leaving. The gentleman who assisted us was extremely helpful.

The manager Nicole is probably the nicest person I've ever dealt with. She helped me fix an issue with my cricket WiFi (because I had been sitting outside cricket waiting for 2 hours and no employee showed up) she was courteous, understanding and fixed the issue in minutes. What an AMAZING person to deal with. I can't WAIT until I can switch my phone over to AT&T because they know how to treat their customers.
