Three occasions at least they failed and inconvenienced me horribly over the last three years or so and did nothing to remedy it.First issue they wanted to replace my entire center console for thousands of dollars because my backup camera wouldn't work, instead, I replaced the backup camera myself for 60 bucks and it worked.They also told me they could reprogram my PCM and then couldn't after telling me the misfire was a mechanical issue. Found out the misfire was just a bad PCM.Third issue is the car wouldn't start. Wanted to replace ignition. Found that mouse chewed visible wire near the battery, spliced the wire myself, fixed.I don't recommend Hyundai, it's built with zero integrity. But moreso I do not recommend C&S, they have even less.

Moved from Oregon to Iowa. Towed a small trailer from an Outback. Just wanted a check up and for them to look a few things on my mind. After a literal 7.5-hour diagnostic, in which they knew I was waiting patiently, they brushed off all of my legitimate concerns, made up some new stuff that would cost me another couple thousand, and then charged me $300 for the diagnostic.I then went to Midas in Cedar Falls where they did the exact same diagnostic for half the price, in 45 minutes, then proceeded to flag the exact things I was trying to get fixed in the first place, and proceeded to fix them, giving me a discount due to my financial difficulties, and being finished in a third the time it took C&S to invent fake problems.C&S is the only certified Subaru that I know of in Waterloo. But their service was the worst I've ever received. I had to break my spell of only going to certified Subaru joints. And I'm not sad about that.

I was searching for a vehicle and in need of help and one of their salesmen was texting me back and forth trying to help or so I thought. it turned into inappropriate messages and pictures being sent to me and when I reported it the following day, I did not even receive an apology nothing happened I received one email that they would look into it and that's all I ever heard . I was not looking for a date I was trying to search for a car

This was probably the best car buying experience that I have ever had despite the dealership not having the vehicle I was looking for on the lot. To be fair I knew the dealership did not have any of the cars I was looking for and went anyway. The main reason is that I wanted to confirm my choice by test driving vehicles that my wife and I had discussed in passing. The sales person helped with this and understood what I was trying to do. Within an hour I realized that first choice was exactly what I wanted. The dealership was able to get exactly what I wanted within 5 days; those five days included the weekend before the fourth of July. I was totally amazed. They did a great job - we will definitely go back to C&S for our next car purchase.

Had a an extended warranty on the engine, had them replace it. That went smooth. They quoted me some more work that needed done and I had them proceed. $850.00 dollars later and I didn't even get a car wash out of it. Car came back dirtier than when it went in. I know it's just a small complaint but, I also work in the customer service industry and the "plus 1" can go a long way. Overall, the guy I worked with (Sam) was very helpful and easy to work with.

5/5/23 I stopped in as I had to "have a code cleared". I was told by Sam at the desk that it would be 1 hour and $75. Ok. I waited in the customer area. After 90 minutes, I went back to the service desk to see how much longer it was going to be. I was then told that Sam was at lunch but Chas would deal with me. Huh? So Chas found my paperwork, and rudely stated that since he hadn't dealt with me he wasn't up to speed on this. I tried to explain what was discussed prior but he walked off to the shop to talk to someone else. He came back and told me the bill was over $300 AND they couldn't clear the code. WHAT!??!? The programing was only going to be $75 but they did extensive diagnostic to determine the issue. If you are going to quadruple the bill, don't you think you should talk with the customer?!??! When I questioned this, all I was told was that this is what they did. THEN they offered to charge me another $500 to fix it. Enroute to the cashier, he took off with the paperwork to help someone else and I was left standing there waiting to pay my bill so I could leave. I had to go and find him to get the paperwork. This is crazy!!! I paid $312 for the honor of sitting in the waiting room for 90 minutes while they did NOTHING to fix my problem. I will not go back and I do not recommend anyone else does either!

Kevin Seng (sales person) and Chad (manager) are both excellent to work with. I told them what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay and they did everything they could do to get me exactly what I asked for. They are located over 100 miles from where I live and I would rather work with them the the dealer 10 miles from me.

Took my car there for an oil change. The next day my oil light comes on and my car dies in the middle of the road. I call for a tow and there is oil straight up draining out of the bottom of my car. Which certainly isn't healthy for the engine. It has been two weeks since the oil change and I am still driving a rental car and my car has just been sitting in their parking lot. Awful communication with me on what the status of my vehicle is. If I had to defer anyone from one business, it would be this one.

Esau and Cody were OUTSTANDING guys to work with...told them my problems with my car...they extended their knowledge to me to help me understand what I would be getting and did it making me feel like I was the 1st and last customer...I have several friends that they have helped and I must say we are all pleased cause if we ever need help...they are right there!!! PERFECTION at its finest!!! Thanks guys!!! Love my new 2023 VENUE HYUNDAI!!!

Purchased an Elantra N and the staff was wonderful to work with. Walked me through the entire process. Had to put in an allocation order in. Waited a while for the vehicle to come in but worth the wait. No price gouging like other dealers and respected my request for no add-ons. Cameron, Cody, and Jessica were super responsive and answered all questions. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

I absolutely love that a representative calls me prior to my appointment to confirm services needed. Also, provides price for each item so that I know exactly how much the cost will be. The entire staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always a pleasure to do business with.
