I cannot say enough about this wonderful Physical Therapy place we have in this place.I feel very cared for and feel like they take the time to listen and ask questions about my feelings and how I feel I am. More than just a job they care. Five star Plus. Stephane S Rocks

Wonderful treatment team. I saw Stefanie and she helped me return to all my normal activities and remain a pain-free after both minor and significant injuries. My concerns were listened to and appropriately addressed. I will return if I am in need of PT again in the future.

I did not have a good experience. I don’t blame anyone personally, I simply don’t feel my care was the primary concern. I have a referral from my neurologist that specified specific treatment written in the “special instruction” portion of my therapy order. After several visits without the special instructions being followed, I inquired about it. I was then told that they do not provide the service requested on my therapy order. I was amazed that anyone would feel it was ok to proceed with the therapy order without discussing the part they would not be able to provide. Each time I was there I made mention of the issues ,and I feel now that no one listened or cared enough to figure it out or tell me the truth. Now I have to start over at another facility. Needless to say I would not recommend using this facility for therapy.

The scheduling lady was very rude and hung up the phone on me. The policy they have about Cancellations is a little ridiculous. I have a five-month-old daughter Who has been sick so I was concerned about her health more than my physical health. And the lady obviously didn’t seem to care. Her name was Nancy.

The therapists were very kind and competent with my elderly mother and she enjoyed them. Nevertheless, I have a huge concern because the therapists and other employees do not mask when caring for clients, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, even though the number of COVID-19 cases is rising. I called and expressed my concern. I was told they will mask if a client requests this. But do clients know this and are they bold enough to ask? (I know my mother would not because she finds it so important to feel she is friendly and that they like her.) I went on to explain that all of our large local hospital systems and the University of Iowa clinics are requiring masking with any patient contact. I tried to explain the risk to the elderly and the younger population currently showing the greatest incidence, but he says he knows all of this. I find it both uncaring and brazen to fail to protect their physical therapy clients. The elderly and those with chronic conditions are being put at even greater risk during their therapy at Cedar Valley Medical Specialists physical therapy. And all of their clients run the risk of spreading this challenging and deadly viral disease to greater numbers of Cedar Valley residents.

What a great place to go when the doctor tell you that you need Physical Therapy. From the front desk to the therapy rooms that group of people made me feel like I was only person their, and they were their for me and me alone. Smiling, happy, and talkative when you talked to them about any of your concerns, even rescheduling didn't phase anyone. My therapist handled my embarrassing problem like a pro. Like a family member that really cared about me. I will go back any time a doc tells me I need PT I am going to as for Cedar Valley.
