Called on my lunch break to see if they had a part and picked it up all within 15 minutes. I looked all over Eastern Iowa for this part but no luck. It wasn’t the cheapest compared to online but a 1 year warranty and no wait time is worth spending the extra cash.

Beware, no returns on any electrical or gas parts, read the fine print. Also, like the other review i read, the part I needed was much cheaper online. I thought shopping local would be the best thing to do. Not in this case.

Well I needed a part to fix my washing machine, and although i waited a while, they did have the part and i got my machine back running same day.. the one problem i had is that they charged me $100 for a part i later seen on the internet for $40.. which isn't surprising, i was just disappointed, because i wanted to shop locally and help the local economy/businesses, but $60 more than other stores is just too much. So i guess, I will just buy my appliance parts online from now on.

I waited in line for ever. 2 ladies behind the desk. One lady helping one guy the other lady kept answering the phone and not helping me. I waited about 20 min in line. The one lady helping the one guy didn't know what she was doing. The other lady kept answering the phone over and over again... I slowly walked out waiting for someone to say hey sorry we'll help you now .... nope didn't happen not one person said anything. This place doesn't care about people don't go there.

Igniter on my York furnace failed. Called Dey Distrubuting and they had my part in stock. What more could I ask for. Convienetly located on University avenue behind McDonalds.

I had to order a part for a washing machine since they didn't have it in stock. I ordered it on a Friday and they said it would be in on the following Weds or Thurs. It took two weeks to come in and when I called to ask they said they would get to it when they get to it. I have a household of six and two weeks without a washing machine is very detrimental and the cost at the laundromat is outrageous. They basically told me I had to deal with it and refused to even look for it. They just said to try again on Monday. They refused to give any discount or make any amends. If you want true customer service, I would highly recommend trying People's appliance or Direct appliance if you are local or go online before going to Dey.
