The new shoe setup is pathetic. You wait, or scan a shoe, wait for them, or not, they take forever to not find what you need in the back. It was so much easier before when you could just diy.

Not even a sporting goods store. I purchased my first shotgun and compound bow here. Now all they sell is overpriced yoga pants. I bet scheels is happy since Dick’s stopped selling anything our consumer base wants.

Great place to buy name brand stuff. They sometimes have great deals on Brooks and Hoka shoes too and typically have my pretty common size in stock. There’s usually someone around to help me when needed too and the checkout folks are friendly.

Went in looking for a certain style of shoe I have bought here before. During my time looking multiple people walked by me stared and walked away. I finally had looked at the entire shoe department and couldn't find them. As I was leaving I was near the front of the store and still passed other workers they all just looked at me and looked the other way or kept talking about the plans for the weekend. As I neared the front there was two ladies that said did you need help finding anything I told them what shoe I was looking for they both jumped on it and was searching the computer as they knew the shoe I was looking for. Dicks no longer had them and they informed me of where to find them. They also had me look at the newer version that they carried but it wasn't as nice of as comfortable as my current shoe. The store was not busy but the store was very clean and organized and all the tables were folded very nicely. The ladies at the end made the trip better for sure.

Your standard Dick’s Sporting Goods. They do seem to have improved inventory. Store is typically very clean and in good order. Also typically a little lightly staffed though employees are helpful and reasonably knowledgeable
