Gilbertville Trail Depot

Gilbertville Trail Depot is a very nice stop on the Cedar Valley Trail. The modern facilities include a very clean and stocked bathroom, an adequate bathroom for bicyclists, and a water faucet and water spigot on the outside of the building to fill bottles or rinse down a bike and gear. The restored former railway station has a cute little museum on one end, several antique railroad pieces, displays and artifacts, and plenty of places to sit down. It is volunteer‑run, open until dark, with parking available and room outside for a party.
