Waited forever to get my blood pressure/chest pain medication only for them to refill the wrong prescription. They told me I could come in and get an emergency supply but when I sent someone to get it for me the worker there said this wasn’t communicated to them . I the called and they said I could come and get it the next day because they were closing in a few minutes. I called the next day only to be told that whoever told me the was wrong and they don’t have the med in stock . Asked if I could get it from a different Hyvee and they said no because now they have to get a new script. So now I will have to go more days without it because the doctors office isn’t open on the weekend. So much miscommunication and incompetent staff . I need to find a different pharmacy because this is unacceptable. I have chest pain due to not getting my medicine. Always delays. Nothings ever in stock. Always have to wait for the warehouse to deliver only to be told the warehouse didn’t deliver it to the store. Worst pharmacy ever.

I see customers being rude, and granted, prescriptions are stressful, but the employees have always been helpful/restrained. I call ahead and try to make sure they (Rx) are ready just to eliminate wait times for myself and others. With insurance trying to be the doctors, and doctors not always writing script when they should, the pharmacy on Ansborough do very well.

Constantly disrespected and talk to as if I’m l was lesser than them, would lie to me constantly then I their evening manager didn’t say anything to her employee about her poor customer communication but told me I had to find a new pharmacy refusing to give my meds and is now NOT passing my prescriptions to another pharmacy, soo unprofessional and typical from a snowflake liberal.

Pharmacy hours are awful. Didn’t get the text that my med was ready until 7:20pm, AFTER they were closed already. I have to go to work before 9am, so now I can’t get them in the morning, either. Since they don't open until 9am they should stay open past 7pm, or at least open EARLIER!

Why do you close SO early!!! I needed my meds but didn't get the text until late that it was ready and you guys were already closed. I work at 7 in the morning so couldn't pick it up and I NEEDED it BEFORE work. There are SO many times my Dr says they submitted a script to you guys yet it takes DAYS to get it. Why?

The pharmacy at this store SUCKS! The service is terrible. It takes too long to get prescriptions filled (way longer than any of the other local pharmacies) and the service there is pathetic. I remember when Hy Vee was a store that cared about their customers. Not so much anymore.

I usually go to the Chinese counter to get some of there leftovers from the day before and I found mold in my chicken.

I truly don't understand the reviews giving a one-star due to having an armed security guard in the store you do understand the area is pretty crime ridden in Waterloo I don't know why it made you nervous unless you're a criminal lol.

I truly enjoy the Ansborough HyVee. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to learn that you don’t have hash browns for your breakfast anymore. Why do sliced potatoes?? They take so much more work to fry them (peel, slice, cook, then fry). I have talked to other people that are just as disappointed as I am. I don’t understand the thought process of this. Please explain.

Never have I ever felt nervous about shopping at Hy-Vee until tonight, tonight as we were shopping we had to be constantly reminded that Hy-Vee is completely fine with shooting customers as a armed Hy-Vee officer patrolled the store. I've shopped here my entire life and even worked for Hy-Vee. Never again will me or my family shop there.
