I didn’t think this place would be much different from your typical O-Reillys. However, the boy that rung me up at the register was very rude and disregarding. I understand you have work that needs to be done, but it doesn’t take much to treat a customer like a human being.

I came in to get my battery for my car and Terry P. Came in clutch. He not only was very respectful but he helped me change my car battery and TAUGHT me how to change my own battery!! He’s the father I wished I had and I believe he’s phenomenal. Please stop by AutoZone in Waukee over any where else!!! Thank you so much terry!

Went in for a cabin air filter that showed online as in stock. Couldn’t find it on the shelf, so I asked an employee up front (didn’t catch the name). He was rude and said it wasn’t in stock if I couldn’t find it on the shelf. After I gave him the correct model number, he saw there was one in stock went into the back to check. I waited patiently for about five minutes, but when he returned, he said he couldn’t find it and told me to “come back tomorrow or check another store” in an annoyed tone. He didn’t even bother to check if another location had it in stock. I ended up going to Advance Auto Parts instead, where I quickly got what I needed with better service.

Went in to get a car battery and install (as they do them for free) and the lady that I asked for help from said they can’t do installs. It’s advertised on their website that they do free installs when you purchase a battery from them. Very disappointed!

Awful customer service. First had to watch one employee be extremely rude to the person in front of us and then had the next employee claim they had no ability to look up what battery was needed for a specific model - which they can do and have done several times before, but just refused to do it this time. I guess we will make sure to go to Advanced Auto or NAPA instead.

Service was amazing! As a single mom and travel nurse, not knowing much about cars, I was truly thankful for the help I got tonight. Cooper met me at the door with a great smile and attitude and was able to help me so much!! Then the manager Pete actually came out to my car to look over the oil and engine to make sure it was running well before I left knowing that there was a chance I'd have to go out on a call tonight. He took the time to show me things and explain things in a way that I actually understood. He made me feel as though I was safe to drive and truly showed great compassion and customer service!

Ben did me a great favor, by helping with a battery. It was closing time and opened up the door when he didn’t have to, on a Sunday night. Thanks to Ben, I can go to work on Monday. Ben is truly a saint.

Great experience at this store! What we thought would be a quick fix replacing a headlight turned into a bigger job and they were there to help. Specifically Ben, he went above and beyond by walking us through fixing some wiring and got the headlight working good as new. Definitely will be going back to him with any car questions!
